Since I've seen most people do this, I'm going to introduce myself ❤️

Hallo Everyone, My name is April Divina (not my true name but I want it to legally be) but you lovely ducks can call me April ✨

I am a She/Her/Hers Female Woman and I am Bisexual ❤️💙💜 (I'm not fully out but I'm comfortable in myself to say) and my favourite colours are black and Dark Blue .... My Zodiac sign is Aries and my MBTI is INFP-T if anyone was wondering.

For those who don't already know, I'm a Hellenic Polytheist 🏛️🌕 converting from Christianity ✝️ but I'm still relatively new so go easy on me. I worship and work with Selene, the Titan Goddess of the Moon 🌕, Aphrodite ❤️, Apollo 🌅, Athena 🦉, Circe 🦁, Persephone 🌺, Demeter 🌾, Hera ♀️and Hestia 🔥BUT I hang out with Hades, Hermes, Lilith (Not Greek I know but still), Medusa🐍, Nyx🌌, Helios☀️, Hephaestus ⚒️, Dionysus and Zeus ⚡

But I'm also a writer and I've written one full book and planning 11+ other WIPs 👍🏿

The Greek Gods and My Little Pony Characters 💙

Should be self explanatory but it's basically if the Greek Gods were associated with MLP characters (Mostly the ones I know) and which MLP Character I would put next to said Greek Deity... You'll see what I mean... I don't mind if you take this in the Sense of Hellenic Polytheism or Epic the Musical... But I'm doing this as a Devotional Act and a funny thing I thought...

Right of the bat... I would 1000% put Twilight Sparkle ✨ with Lady Athena 🦉... They both are Knowledgeable and smart, they both have an owl for a pet/symbol... I feel like most would put either Sunset Shimmer and/or Starlight Glimmer but they STRIVE for knowledge (So does Twilight) but Twilight is already smart)... But Sunset Shimmer and Starlight Glimmer would be with Odysseus and Diomedes... Just because of the Student/Mentor dynamic (I know, Odysseus and Diomedes are Greek Heroes but still)

Next, I would put Fluttershy 🦋 🐇🐰with Lady Artemis 🦌... Simply because they're both Animal lovers and though Fluttershy is less like a fighter type than Artemis (Except for that one episode with the pony war), they're both like Assertive when they need to be, I guess... And if not Lady Artemis then DEFINITELY Lady Persephone... They both end up with 'grumpy' and 'grr' people (Father Hades and Discord)

Also, I know I could put Discord with the God Chaos (Because it's in the name) ... But I feel like Lord Hades would definitely suit better because they're both misunderstood and even though Discord was a Villain at first, he became a good guy in the end...

Pinkie Pie🩷💛🩵 with Lord Dionysus 🍷🍾🍸... Do I even need to explain why? They're both party people and literally the life of event... That's it...

Now Lady Aphrodite ❤️ 🦢🕊️ is a bit different because I could totally put Rarity 💎with her (Because of Fashion and Gems which is materialistic beauty)... But then there's literally Princess Cadence of the Crystal Empire who's Cutie Mark is LITERALLY a heart 💙 but then there's Lord Eros who's the Personification of Love and bringing people together which is what Princess Cadence does as her Cutie Mark... I'll keep Princess Cadence with Lady Aphrodite

OK, for Rarity... I would put her with Lady Hera 🦚... I don't know why, I don't think Rarity was ever fully Cheated on multiple times (Except for the Prince Charming pony in that one Grand Galloping Gala episode) but I feel like they'd get along so well 🤷🏿‍♀️

Princess Celestia with Lord Helios... They both are affiliated with the Sun and I know some may say that Princess Celestia would be good with Lady Iris... But That's because of her colourful hair (Celestia only has Coloured hair because of the Elements of Harmony, she originally used to have Pink Hair) so Yes, Helios ☀️

And if we're going down the same road, Princess Luna🌙 with Mother Selene 🌕... Luna was trapped in the Moon, Selene and Helios are Siblings, Celestia and Luna are sisters (Also, Nightmare Moon... Or the Tantabus with Nyx because they're both Scary but not 'Evil')

Zecora with Lady Hecate.... They're both associated with magic and witchcraft, and they're both mischaracterised as evil people

I wanted to save this for last because this is more of a Tricky one than with Lady Aphrodite.... I'm not sure who to put Rainbow Dash🌈 with because I could put her with Lord Hermes ⚕️ because of her speed but I could put her with Lady Iris 🌈because she literally does a Sonic Rainboom and has rainbow hair (I was thinking of putting her with Father Zeus 🦅🌩️because of cutie Mark being lightning and she can move the clouds... But Rainbow Dash is the Element of Loyalty... So that just sounds ironic 💀) and I would put Derpy with Hermes just because of her Cutie Mark being a messenger

I will do a Part 2 soon if you guys want but let me hear your thoughts on this because I think it's an interesting concept of the Greek Gods in the MLP:FIM and MLP:EG universe

Yesterday, I found out I was a Daughter of Apollo and Hades... Which I guess makes sense given that I'm a worshipper of Apollo (HelPol 🏛️🌕) and have been seeing A LOT of Hades stuff... I do like writing and I keep to myself a lot of the time

... That's it. That's the post (I know nothing else of PJO apart from Camp-Half Blood and I don't want to watch the rest of the TV series without reading the Books)

Like I'm just sitting there watching TV or something and then 'Hmm, Is Kaeyln a good name? Or has that already been used in another book?' like, no prompt whatsoever... It does help sometimes though

I'm quite pissed off at the Writing and Reading community (Rant)...TW: Swearing kind of

Ok for a bit of backstory, I was planning my ideas for my book (Not The Enchanted Guardian) and I was doing research on YouTube about Aesthetics and dystopia because that's what it surrounds and I was looking at Divergent because though I haven't read or watched it before, I knew it was about factions and a test which I just found out it was how I wanted it to be like in my book so I watching a few videos... But tell me WHY there were so many videos of people slandering and hating on Divergent and comparing it to The Hunger Games? Like I understand that Divergent may not be as perfect as THG and we're allowed to have our own opinions... But just seeing those videos dragging and berating Divergent because it was a 'Knockoff' of THG just made me realise something that I've always realised before but it was just reaffirmed to me... You can't write anything without being criticised for it and I blame the Reading community for it (especially Booktok and Bookstagram) because if someone was to write a book, it would just get hated and criticised for being like a book which just so happens to have a similar storyline... Like as if that isn't the whole point of inspiration? And I'm not saying to completely copy and paste and I understand why people may have been opposed to Divergent (Even though it isn't that much similar than the FMC being chosen to do something) but if we're following that logic then we should criticise Walt Disney for making Sleeping Beauty the same as Snow White... Like the story trope of a damsel-in-distress needing to be kissed to be woken up wasn't a common thing back then. Like obviously, one should strive to be as original with their story as possible but if they see something from another piece of media and they want to incorporate that into their book... Then they shouldn't be hated for doing what thousands of writers and creatives have BEEN doing since Writing, Literature and storytelling was developed in the ancient world.

As another thing, I saw a post on Instagram about writing and one of their points was 'Some stories shouldn't be told/shared'... Now obviously I'm not going to say which writing account said that because A. I forgot and B. Privacy and they are entitled to their own opinions and we did have a discussion about the point. No hate to the creator but I just want to share how a statement like that can make it hard for a writer to be motivated and stay wanting to write their story. Now it's obviously no surprise that conventionally not perfect books are getting published with spelling and grammar mistakes whereas others aren't getting the attention they deserve, I'm not denying that and, before people come at me with 'Dark romance' and its problems, I know there are certain books that romanticise 🍇 and *bu$€ which isn't good at all and I don't stand with glorifying that stuff and I know you can't say 'however' to such stuff but HOWEVER, I feel like the creator of the post should of said 'Stories that contain 🍇 and other problems in a positive and glorified manner as well as not properly addressing the topic with sensitivity shouldn't told' because that's more specific than just saying 'Some stories shouldn't be told' because, in my eyes, that just means 'the person with a book idea about dragons fighting to the death and magic' shouldn't be told because it 'sound like Fourth Wing' which to me, sounds a bit gatekeepy... Because last time I checked, writing is subjective to the person writing it and doesn't have to fall into a box of 'absolute originality otherwise it's just copying' which if you think that then you'll be disappointed because most, if not, ALL medias... Be it writing, film etc have taken inspiration from the other and incorporated in their work. Also, the argument with 'spelling and grammar mistakes' is just wrong because, yes there's Grammarly, but we're still human and we make mistakes... And that's quite demeaning to Dyslexic people or those who speak another language.

The reason why I'm so pissed is that I'm literally scared to write my books because even if my research and writing is perfect, just seeing Booktok and Writertok compilations just berating a conventionally good book because 'The storyline is like this book' or 'it has too many grammar mistakes' makes me nervous and think 'What's the point of writing if It's going to get hated on for minuscule things' and hating others for liking and reading said book even though, last time I fucking checked, reading is subjective and people are allowed to like whatever book they read... Or did I miss the meeting where we now judge others for reading as if it isn't already a blessing someone's even reading AT ALL...

Like damn, no wonder why people don't like reading or writing as much... Because there's so much fucking criticism that makes it feel like they should just give up! Like what do you want us to do instead? Stare at a wall watching paint dry? Please, shut up and let people enjoy and do what they like without hating FOR ONCE IN YOUR GOD DAMN LIVES 😐😒😡

Anyways, that's just my rant of opinions... You don't have to agree with me but if you are going to comment, please keep it chill. 👍🏿
