Info about 1st Anni Event

Happy Early 1st Anni to everyone in WHB! Hope everyone is enjoying the things PB prepared for us. Just thought to let everyone know what to expect out of Anni Event in case anyone was wondering or got confused:

In addition to these tidbits, it would be greatly appreciated if we could practice spoiler-tagging when sharing spoilers of events or chats. Already saw a good handful of people get frustrated from people simply posting without tagging or censoring which I think is fair. It's one thing to simply NOT click to reveal the post or mute spoiler tags but it's different if the spoilers are posted without censoring and under the main tag for everyone to see. Let's help each other in keeping the Anni event fun without ruining any excitement.

Just wanted to put out there how so far (to my knowledge at least), Raphael's chibi sprite is the only one whose mouth/full face we see in his Solomon Seal's dungeon

This is an extreme hot take but when PB say "players have complain", I'm starting to believe that it's true now. After it was announced that victory Lucifer was going to be added to the standard pool, it was understandable that p2w players would not be happy about that as they had paid a pricey amount to obtain him. However, it becomes a whole different situation to say in the midst of pointing out how they have paid to get him, that f2p should NOT be able to obtain him and get actually blocked from getting him.

As a p2w player, even I find that incredible rude. Whether it's p2w or f2p, NO ONE should be blocked from being able to enjoy a game's content including being able to obtain a character they like. F2p players have their own reasons to be f2p, the biggest factor being due to irl obligations. But to express discontent by saying it's not fair when f2p don't pay to even support the game? Ridiculous.

Then there's the recent group of players that have been actively "policing" others that have been sharing spoiler content by sending messages that nearly goes to the point of being called harassment. Educating someone is different from going up to a fellow player and blaming them for ruining their own fun and it's because of them they're no longer playing the game when the player posting the spoilers have either warnings OR not even tagging the post with anything at all so it wouldn't appear under any of the tags that may relate to the game and search. With all of this, PB's latest announcements made a lot of sense as to WHY they were making them. And it's disappointing that it really was due to these types of players that led to said decisions. As we receive new content the next two weeks, I hope we learn to be more civil, respectful, and sensible to each other so that we could all enjoy the game.

Can't believe all of us have been sleeping on the fact Agares' obsession to oranges is reference to the one guy from Ouran Highschool that had the same obsession over said fruit.

When Sitri's VA also get's surprised by the unexpected post of seeing Sitri's 🍑 😂

Rough TL: The official site posted Sitri's ass without any warning all of a sudden! It stands out so much, so clearly (key smash) Makes me think that we might be seeing S+/Petite L of Sitri soon if we're also getting the VA commenting on the pic too

There seems to be posts recently being made about WHB being 10-16 gbs which I'm having a hard time believing since there were a good mount of posts made previously how it was fixed. From an update a month to 2 months ago, PB had addressed where all you had to do was reinstall the game and it went from 10 gb to 5 gb. Yes, they should've made an announcement about it but, again, there were a good amount of posts made about it by players and this pertains to ALL platforms. As long as you have an actual account that you can log back into and link all other accounts to the one you'll need to use to log back into the game, there shouldn't be an issue with data loss. In fact, it's currently running around 6.12 gbs for Erolabs while it seems to be the similar amount for those playing via PlayStore or App Store. Though I guess it would be better to do after PB does another update for those that haven't gone through the process before as there's an issue going on currently with this method.

No Red Keys in New Pancake Shop

Yeah, just as the title says, not only is bath beel paywalled, PB removed the red keys from the pancake shop. This is an absolute insult to not just F2P players but ALL players since we still were able to gain red keys through the pancake shop and obtain L-grade characters. PB did post in their announcement on their website to "let them know on what they can do better", I recommend people to email them at this point as today is the update and they'll be checking their emails for any issues with the current update. Please check their X pfp for PB's email address.

Corner Talk about in Regards to PB's Announcement in Sharing Paid Contents

So, at this point everyone has read the recent announcement PrettyBusy has posted in regards to sharing ANY paid content. For the full announcement you can access it here but for those that just wants a sweet, small summary, it's essentially them taking legal action on anyone who:

So, they still allow players to share parts/bits and pieces of the paid content, just not all of it.

Though it seems like everyone can understand the whole business side of things, there's still confusion on the datamine aspect as in how is datamining is illegal, why is there legal action taken against datamining, etc.

First, I feel like people need to understand that datamining, itself, it NOT illegal. The problem is sharing datamines publicly on any social media. The reasons are for the following

What I wrote are only snippets of the few reasons as to the legal concerns in sharing datamine contents. And despite for other fandoms, it's not as prevalent, game companies are starting to take up action in regards to datamining, some being obvious about it while others are being discreet.

However, if we were talking about solely on the announcement, it's understandable why it would bother players, especially F2P. For other games (not saying ALL or MOST), they do eventually make the paid content accessible at some point for F2P without having to make them wait for so long. However, PB isn't taking much initiative with that, where now they're adding characters from the Solomon Seals after 3 MONTHS while, for now, not letting F2P have ANY ACCESS to limited characters from Nightmare Pass. To top that off, previously PB had promised re-runs of events, which would've allowed newer F2P to have a chance to play the event and obtain resources/characters from it. But now they have their previous events accessible behind paywall, decreasing the likelihood for event re-runs to happen. As for P2W, players are literally paying to get the character and related contents related to said character so there shouldn't be much restrictions in sharing their paid content on public platforms in the first place (this is not to say they should disrespect PB and share everything though). This is without mentioning some of the promises that have already broken based on the announcement earlier this year and last month (?) (Main story drop every 2 months, Friendship System, Comics related to Cards being posted on their Social Media, etc.).

Hopefully PB will reconsider and address some of these issues with the upcoming event for Bethel and Belphegor dropping on 6/26.

I don't know if anyone else noticed but it seems like PB took away back-to-back dispatch for the Portal of Holy Coins and now has it where you have to pay with gems to replay that level

I find that really inconvenient since I'm one those players that uses their gems for 1.) Solomon Seals/Archangel Portal and/or 2.) mass spend on resources (e.g., Action Power, Solomon Tears, Advanced Candy, so forth).

On top of the fact we're being forced to spend nightmare coins as part of the requirement to pass through the stages to get the rest of the rewards in Nightmare Pass, it's getting harder to really enjoy the pass...

Personally speaking, I wouldn't mind actually paying to get Luci since he's a fav. but with what's going on with the pass, I don't know if it's really worth spending actual money on it...

EDIT: Someone in comments just pointed that that apparently the back-to-back dispatch still exists so I’m guessing PB added in the case anyone wants to farm for more holy coins, they can.

There is no such thing as “Good Guy”

A concept that makes WHB “charming” and appreciative is how there’s no true villain or hero. The line that defines evil and good, despite there being angels, dragons, demons, and humans, is nonexistent.

Disclaimer: Spoilers for Chapter 5, Events, Gamigin, and Lucifer!

We are put under an illusion such a line exists when we see the human MC get attacked by Gabriel, only to be saved by Satan. From that point on and all the way to Chapter 4, everything seems to be set in stone that the villains are the angels, whose goal is practically to assert their race as the only living race as a mean to receive all of “God’s” love since they are jealous that they aren’t the ONLY race to receive his love. This includes the whole issue of them targeting the MC as they are the descendent of the sole human who received most of “God’s” love (i.eSolomon). Hence, the MC and us, the players, are put under the impression that devils are victims since they are trying to protect their homes while owing them a debt for saving (reviving) Minhyeok. 

Chapter 5, however, shows us that this isn’t the case and the situation wasn’t that simple. Though we learn of how the angels used to run a lab to experiment on a large population of devils, including Leviathan and Orias, the devils weren’t completely innocent. When discussing as to why the Seed of Knowledge would be in Tartaros, we learn of how said country used to do just the same as the angels where the devils of Tartaros had previously ran a lab and experimented on angels before Mammon, himself, destroyed it due to the experimentation posing as a threat to his people.  

We also see from the two events, Requiem of the Survivors and the Life Investigation of Leraye, how Orias attempts to take Leviathan’s life just so he could consume Leviathan’s soul and obtain long-lasting youth while Astaroth is found by Sitri coming back from the human world after corrupting and ruining the life of a human. We would think the devils wouldn’t be like this as they are introduced as more of a pure and innocent existence especially when, according to Solomon and other devils, they can’t even lie. Based on these events and from seeing in Chapter 5 how the devils of Hades are able to lie, that’s not the actual truth.

If anything, it can be argued their nature and cruelty is almost closed to the angels. The few things that doesn’t make the devils from being on the same level as them is how they don’t intend to assert their race and commit genocide for said goal but exhibit consideration and sympathy towards their fellow and other races. From The Two Stars event, Gamigin’s comic, and Lucifer’s comic, we see how the devils show kindness even towards angels and dragons where the original Gamigin gives his life up to save dragon Gamigin while Satan’s camp and Satan, himself, show neutrality to Lucifer when he first arrived in Hell and takes down his fellow angels. In addition to this, the devils of Paradise Lost choose to follow Lucifer and acknowledge him as their king and “hyung” despite him being an angel. 

All of this being said, there’s no “good guy” or “bad guy” in WHB. Instead, we see how war brings out both the good and bad sides of all beings that justifies reasoning for certain actions but not excusing them.  There’s also emphasis that the POV of the MC can’t be completely relied on due to bias where they are mostly interacting with the devils on a normal and mutual basis. The concept of moral-grayness makes the overall story all more intriguing as more lore is revealed through interactions between MC -to- characters and characters-to-characters. 

Hopefully PB will drop more content soon so we could learn more about the story and characters!

So, for the Realm of Seraphim, it seems like for this week’s realm feat. Raphael, you can use Ultimate, Default, and Passive skills. The only exception is that if any of said skills have HP recovery, it can’t be used. This shouldn’t be an issue if you have a healing artifact or two equipped the characters (best choice is blood bag but if not, combinations of other healing artifacts should work too).

Raphael’s Ultimate is pretty brutal though where he launches a full out attack on the WHOLE battle area (similar to Lucifer’s Ultimate).

It does seem like there was a small update (or I could be completely wrong and didn’t notice until now) where now the characters for required camps are highlighted/color coded in addition to having the king’s sticker placed next to them.

It makes me think Michael’s realm is the hardest of the three with the fact you can’t use Ultimate skills to take down the angels while Gabriel’s is the easiest with the least constraints.

On top of that, it seems like there will be two new demons joining soon since the patterns beneath Buer and Morax are different compared to the empty spots with Ppyong's face!

A Talk about OG!Gamigin including Theory!

PB why are you likes this!!! Why do you have to pull my heart strings and make me like a character to the point I'd be willing to throw everything, only to off them!!!

Seriously, I'll be willing to throw all my resources for OG!Gamigin or even beg PB for him to either get revived in the story or have his own card so I can see him co-parent our drago!Gamigin and Jjok with Lucifer!!!
