You know what? I think if so many countries are gonna remake Ghosts, Mike and Alison being different is a quicker way to make the show more fresh and interesting than making the ghosts different. Here’s my list of potential people I’d like to see in their situation.
- A lonely loser who spends all day inside playing video games
- A family of four (who sees the ghosts? Up to you)
- A gay couple
- Business partners renovating the house
- A melodramatic artist using the house for studio space
- Rival inheritors who are forced to move in together (Dani’s castle but better basically)
- Someone who moves in with their mysterious long-lost relative

Thought I’d share the final proof of concept I made for my movie pitch for Development class. It’s been ages since I did it but I’m still really proud of the end result.
The pitch was to reimagine a character from the public domain and somehow reimagining Jack Frost turned into kind of a Londonish Snow Queen retelling. Fun how stuff happens.
(Note, you can probably tell I used references for a lot of these. Due credit to Pinterest and Arcane screenshots).
The gist of the plot is that the boyfriend of Brigit (the girl) has been kidnapped by the Winter King so she teams up with his disgraced loser son to get him back, cue epic journey in no way inspired by my experience with the Duke of Edinburgh award.
Idk this was just a lot of fun to make, thought I’d share.
Updated drawings from my (now 9th version) Avatar rewrite when will I be free from this hell. Ignore how crap the first two look I didn’t sign up to draw blue alien furries I just got hate-obsessed with this movie against my will.
Might post an updated version of the rewrite, idk. It’s legitimately eating away at me. Hate when a thing you despise gets in your head so badly you think about it more than the fans. This movie was no kidding my tipping point into considering script editing as a career.

That’s right I finally fucking finished him. It took me 5 design sketches, multiple months and much more thought than it deserves. Behold.

I’ll confess, I just kinda figured one of them had to be the most like a Bond girl - more on the elegant/sexy end of the spectrum than the overly silly ribbons and bows end - and Pierce Brosnan seemed like an ideal candidate. Mostly because Daniel Craig and Sean Connery both have to be ridiculous for my own entertainment. Plus I feel like he has a very middle-aged period drama type appeal to him (<- okay I saw ONE image of him that fit that narrative but… shhh).
His outfit has the least Easter eggs/details from his movies in it because I haven’t seen any of them, sorry. The main point of inspiration is probably kinda obvious - the torture chair had a really interesting design. He’s got sock garters but you can’t really see them and the top half of the design had to be reworked so many times idk if you can see the inspiration from his trench coat turtleneck outfit.
I have genuinely no idea how Pierce Brosnan is in the movies but taking a guess at how his Bond is portrayed from pictures on Google and a couple of quotes, I think this Bond would be the group rebel/rogueish type.

You know I never grew up watching soaps because my parents hated them, and I frankly don’t have the attention span for them anyway, but boy… do not let me Google soap plotlines because both times it has ended in tears.
First I cried in school about Jack Woolley’s dementia plotline on the Archers (FANTASTIC use of the soap format btw, like genuinely that is genius) now I’m up crying about Roy and Hayley from Corrie and how these two poor weirdos found each other and eventually lost each other again. They deserved every happiness.
