It's amazing how actors and directors can make this utter magic happen on screen for us, but the practical reality of it is that the actual shooting likely was very brief and the all the passion disappears as soon as "CUT!" is heard.
Nora... is a film. I can say that.
Ewan McGregor can do things like Nora and Young Adam at the same time there's like lunchboxes and children's novels featuring his face on the shelves and you're telling me people still have problems when a franchise actor does something that's not suitable for an Everyone Rating

Jesus, reading Stay's Wikipedia page and like... ouch dude. I think it was a little up in its own ass but I don't think it was THAT bad.
It's why I don't think I can ever handle being involved in film like how can you put so much artistic endeavour and pride into something and then watch it flop
I just updated my Tumblr app and there's a new "video" tab at the bottom where it functions essentially like TikTok/Insta Reels/YT Shorts by aggregating trending Tumblr posts with videos on them.
This doesn't directly affect gif posts, but it does mean that there is now a very accessible Tumblr-native way to "scroll" through videos for animated (as in moving, as opposed to static images and text) content, as it is very common for people to do nowadays.
This is setting an uncomfortable precedent where users will be tempted to see Tumblr content through video posts only, essentially leaving out gifsets and gif posts in the dust as the more cumbersome, "primitive" way to catch movie and tv content.
It's gonna be harder to argue for the .GIF format's place on the internet now, when animated content is far more common and accessible in video format instead.
