Toph, the Blind Bandit
(Don’t look too hard at her feet, I redrew this illustration at least 6 times trying to fix them. There's a reason I usually draw ballgowns and mermaids... I struggle with them for whatever reason)
Since her first/Noble outfit is so accurate to the Tang Dynasty that I wanted to reference another fashion from that era in her Blind Bandit look. At first I thought I would just be using men's clothing BUT, the Tang Dynasty was such a fun era... and women actively wore men's clothing to participate in sports, travel and just for fashion. This look uses a shirt/jacket called the "yuanlingpao".
