WELCOME HOME SPOILER

important meaning of the black tulip

IT'S A WINTER FLOWER GUYS

JULIE IS TRYING TO OPEN A WINTER FLOWER

OF COURSE SHE WOULDN'T BE ABLE TO MAKE IT BLOOM

BECAUSE IT'S NOT SUPPOSED TO

BUT SHE'S DOESN'T KNOW THAT BECAUSE SHE SLEEPS DURING WINTER

SHE PROBALY DOESN'T KNOW ABOUT WINTER FLOWERS

also black tulips means power and strength

which is somewhat ironic

because it's shown the opposite when julie is with the flower

since she feels she's not powerful or strong enough to make a single flower to bloom

but the flower is not even to supposed to bloom in first place

i'm forever haunted by my inability to whistle because i truly tried. i watched youtube videos and practiced in the mirror again and again with no results,

until 2020 when i was living on a boat completely alone in quarantine during the heat of lockdown. i woke up at 1 am from a dream in which i was whistling. i sat up in bed and i thought, "oh my god, i get it now,"

and i whistled. i whistled a tune, even. i took a video of myself whistling just to prove it to everyone.

i went back to bed. in the morning, i couldn't whistle anymore. i only have the video as a reminder of the time i was briefly possessed by a whistling ghost who took pity on me.

When I was a kid, I whistled all the time. My sister lamented her inability to whistle and I told her "it's really simple, just do this!" And I walked her through how to do it. And she quickly got it!

I'm an adult now, completely incapable of whistling. It is the most frustrating thing in the world. And my sister? An excellent flutist in her uni's band.

Yes, she's as confused as I am on how the guy that taught her to whistle can't anymore

One of my favorite things about making stuff and sharing it is when someone points out something completely unintentional. Especially if they assume you did it on purpose. Like yep. I toootally intended that. That was done... intentionally... It's so fun because you make a thing, you think about the many different aspects of the thing, and then the person points out something you hadn't thought of and it feels like you're still learning about the thing you made. It also tells me that hey! They're engaging with the thing! They're thinking about it and it inspires new ideas! And I just think that's so cool
