As an ex dsmp fan and current parkciv fan I think many people like myself would enjoy Banana & Bread's yt channel

I found them by accident and absolutely fell in love with this funny duo, literally every video feels so domestic and (as many people noticed in comments) like something from the old days when mc was being played just for fun

I'm writing this because (to my surprise) their channel is so underrated! Even if at least one person finds out about them through my post I'll be happy sooo... The perfect place to start is their "Minecraft manhunt but it's scripted" video (so you see why I talked about dsmp)

Pathologic fandom. This is your call to make

there's something to be said about how large chunks of the fandom loved to talk shit about daniil's general bitchlorishness without ackowledging how the state of his mental health influenced his behavior until we literally got a game demo from his perspective with mechanics that force the player to ackowledge and manage said atrocious mental health.

like ik i tend to woobify danko and love calling him a prickly prick (affectionate) for kicks but i feel like so many people took this vein of joke and danko in general at face value and thus perpetuated a dramatic yet somehow really common mischaracterization of him as an egomaniacal asshole who hates the town for no reason.

like im glad people are starting to change their tune but god can we as a fandom think for ten seconds about these characters? like pathologic has some of the most complex, rich, and well developed characters in any game i've played and its such a disservice to that good writing to ignore everything that made it work in the first place
