The Sims 4 had an update, and most of my mods are broken, so today I'm streaming Dreamlight Valley as I wait for them to be fixed. Come and say hi!

What's happening? Well, life, I suppose. I got a job, I quit a job, I got married. I've had a massive art block for an entire year now, although, if you're curious, here are all the doodles I made in 2024 (it's been a stressful year, so I allowed myself to create art that is simple, sketchy, and a little unfinished and imperfect. As a treat):

My life's dream has always been to write and publish a fantasy book, and I am writing it! It's definitely happening! But it needs more work. So, in the meantime, I thought - I could become more active in the online spaces again, by streaming on Twitch. Yes, that's right, I stream every week from Monday to Friday at 4PM GMT+1! In fact, I'm streaming right now! I focus on no-commentary gameplay of the Sims 4 and other chill games that you can relax to, or even fall asleep to, if that's your thing. I aim to create a queer safe space, and my chatters are really nice, so come and say hi! You can also follow me on Bluesky!

But yeah, nowadays, I really like to express myself creatively by building and furnishing in the Sims 4, and I've been doing it for a long time. Sometimes I mess around in Create-A-Sim too, for example, here's me creating Bradley Nicholson in CAS, for the good times sake.

Hadestown is based on the myth, so, uh, both? The version of the myth doesn't really matter, because the core is the same - we all wished this guy wouldn't turn around, but he did, and the story of this tragedy was so appealing, it survived for thousands of years, and it's still being told to this day.

I've never seen Hadestown, but I've listened to all the songs and really enjoyed them. ^^ I think it's a very well-made adaptation that just Gets It.

Beast Boy is one of my favorite DCU characters, and I am indeed a huge BBTerra shipper. They're one of my favorite DCU pairings for sure (I'm talking about the 2003's cartoon versions of course). I think it's adorable how quickly they clicked together, and their friendship was super adorable. They were both weird goofballs with tragic backstories, and I think their friendship was exactly what they needed in their life. With their mutual support, they could have grown to become better people. There was a lot of room for development.

But I like BBTerra mostly for the same reason I like Jinx and Ekko, or for the same reason I like Orpheus and Eurydice. I think the tragedy element is integral to their story, and it's the thing that appeals to me the most here.

There is no BBTerra relationship post-canon. The only way BBTerra could have a happy ending was if Terra came clean a little earlier, and if Beast Boy stuck to his word and was her friend no matter what. But that's not what ended up happening, because they were insecure, troubled kids, and when it mattered the most, their feelings were just too difficult, too complicated.

And yes, while I wrote a conclusion to BBTerra's storyline, I felt it would be disrespectful to ignore that tragedy element. Which is why I give them both a closure, but I don't… make them end up with each other. There is no fixing the past, but there is making peace with it. Writing that ending was bittersweet, but it felt more right than taking the easy way of making them a couple.

BBTerra always makes me wonder "what if". It's seeing them for what they could be. It's the yearning. It's wanting to have something you can't have. It's what always keeps me invested when it comes to shipping.

I'm going to be honest with you - I don't know. I have an unfinished Drakgo fanfic on the side, and I also wanted to make a fan-comic about Ron Stoppable - it's already written and pretty much outlined. So I just have to draw it!

And that's just the problem. I'm not sure when that's gonna happen.

The way my brain functions is that I have a few special interests and I tend to hyper-focus on something before I move on to something else. It's never anything new, although I don't always speak about all of my interests online.

A year ago I started role-playing with my friend, and the result of that was me writing around 50 documents of content (with my friends' help of course), which happened to be a conclusion of Beast Boy and Terra's storyline from 2003 Teen Titans, with me writing Beast Boy, Terra, and every single other Titan, because I have a god complex, apparently.

Right now, my focus is shifting once again - I'm outlining a Monster High fanfic. I don't even know if I'm ever going to actually start writing it before I hyper-focus on something else.

But my point is - I do have that Ron comic idea saved, so if I get hyped about Kim Possible again, I'll definitely get around finishing it.
