Looking for a blog about the mothers of ASOIAF? Look no further!

asongofmothers is a collection of meta, fanart, and fanedits dedicated to the mothers of GRRM’s fantasy series A Song of Ice and Fire.

the goal of this blog is to be a resource of information and celebration of the mothers (both good and bad) in the series and their relationships with their children and families.

mothers are often relegated to tragic backstories or saintly ghosts in fantasy series, and I hope this blog can help illuminate some of the women of ASOIAF as living, breathing people with desires and ambitions for themselves and their children.

this blog will be focused on content from the books, rather than the TV show adaptations.
