all right I know you all enjoy bears, but what about....

knew i was forgetting someone

the humble waterbear.....

little shop update: "greetings from Earth" is now a real postcard, "shetlands in sweaters" and "sleeping black bear" are back in stock with my new name, and "bear species" is now postcard-sized. all the recently sold out stickers and pins are also back

a few print-on-demand shirts have been added to my Etsy. these are fulfilled by Printful, printed with the direct-to-garment method (same as Redbubble; in fact, all the designs are already on my RB, so shop wherever you prefer)

that's it for now! back to work on new block prints, finishing needle felted critters, and other fun things for the upcoming mid-summer shop drop :)

i saw @/9bandedcreative's prompt list, #sketchyhabitats, and had to join in with some sketches of habitats here in the southeastern usa!

  • high tide (+ low tide, gulf coast salt marsh)
  • cozy burrow (gopher tortoise burrow)
  • crisp rain (vernal/ephemeral pool w/ amphibians)
  • sunny spot (a sandstone glade)

btw i mentioned this elsewhere but Print Social (who i did the polar animal shirt with) announced they're shutting down, which explains the delays (or rather the delays are part of why they're closing, anyway) really unfortunate! they were very nice and it was such a convenient platform to use. i'd planned on re-printing polar wildlife and doing a couple new design campaigns with them this year.

i am starting to put art on Redbubble again. in fact you can already get the polar wildlife design, including a "south up" version, if you missed the original campaign!

i'll continue to have very small batches of block prints on thrifted tees in my etsy -- my preferred method of doing shirts, but unfortunately not one i can do at a large scale right now. i will probably look into print-on-demand/drop-shipping services that integrate with etsy, i just need the mental energy to look through the options and find something that's going to be good enough quality to last a while (open to recommendations; i truly haven't started looking at all yet i just know it's a thing that exists lmao)
