Another thing I wanna talk about is the issue I have when fandoms use us as a way to start fanwars. You CLEARLY don’t care about our voices being heard and are no better bc you just wanna use us for argumentative sake and that’s not okay and it’s lame and your lame. Don’t shift blame and say “well look what your fav did” or “but no one said anything when such and such did it” WE DID YOU JUST SUPPRESSED OUR VOICES. trust and believe black ppl are gonna speak up when we need to be heard and trust and believe black voices will be raised when we have been wrong. The real question is are you bothering to listen and hear us?

Don’t shame black ppl for liking kpop either by saying “you knew what you were getting into” like no I’m sorry I don’t go around assuming everyone is racist that sht would eat me up and wear on me. A lot of the time there have been artist that have learning firm there mistakes and have grown as individuals and apologised. Black ppl liking things outside of black culture is okay and we shouldn’t be suppressed to a bubble and shut out bc that makes you no better than the racist ppl alllllll throughout history that have told us to stay where we belong and that we don’t belong here or there. Start looking in mirror and hold these artist and companies accountable bc I promise when you do it’ll make it so we don’t end up the the same position of fanwars and constant disappointment. Be the change you wanna see, everyone deserves to have a safe space and community they like to be apart of.

Kpop last week was hot racist mess and I’m starting to get scared that I’m not suprised anymore. It’s unbelievable and unacceptable the amount of racism black ppl have been subjected to in kpop. And I do also acknowledge other cultures that have been subjected to it as well but I don’t wanna speak for them because it’s not my place and I wanna give them the floor to speak how they feel as well, But I understand how they are feeling. Companies and artist need to be held to a better standard, it’s 2025…. all this racism and mockery of black culture is disgusting. There is no reason that we should still be demanding apologies and asking for artist to educate themselves at they big age or at this point in time. I especially get upset when it’s groups/companies that work with black artists or producers and people behind the scenes. It’s getting tiring and annoying with a big helping of frustration. How are you gonna profit off our culture but not respect us as individuals? It doesn’t make any sense other than you see what you can take and see dollar signs rather than see us as human beings. Imma be brutally honest and just say kpop would be nothing without black culture if you do research into the inspiration and different things that happen in kpop a big amount of the time it is something from black culture. It’s really time for ppl to start finding artist and companies accountable bc after the week we had it’s very clear that if we don’t speak up they not gonna care and think they can sweep it under the rug.‼️It’s particularly grimey and filthy when I see artist work/collab with a lot of black artist and then not address their racism and continue to put them selves in black spaces cause to me it seems you…..again only see us as dollar signs and target audience‼️ for all the wrong reasons (that lil bit of the last part was directed towards blackpink specifically after what came out about them last this week)

Under no circumstances is it ever okay to do cultural appropriation of any kind. I don’t wanna hear no excuses of “well its appreciation” NO ITS NOT WHAT THEY DID WAS WRONG, IGNORANT AND GOOFY WITH A CHERRY OF RACISM ON TOP. Black culture is not some costume it’s our day to day lives. As a black woman it’s very hard to get into kpop bc I always have to make sure I don’t get fooled on behalf of artist/companies making a fool of themselves. There is no apology or excuse that kiss of life could give. The year is 2025 and we still doing this sht?!?!?

It’s embarrassing and pathetic, there is no defending this 2 members are from America and on top of that one of them was already caught before saying the n word and had to apologise. And the icing on this shitty cake is that haneul also said before this livestream started not to leave the fandom. So you knew what you were doing was wrong but did it anyway?!?? “The company might have forced them” no they didn’t because Julie wanted to do this concept for her bday this was HER CHOICE OF A CONCEPT. So kiss of life just didn’t care and they know they have a big number of black fans they just truly don’t care and when ppl stop caring about them I hope they don’t act confused. Kiof threw it all away for a cheap stereotype concept that ain’t even good nor funny. Kpop companies have been testing the water to see what they can get away with as far as CA now that hip hop and black culture has been on an even more uprise and yall are getting a basic level look of how fare they are willing to go. I need yall to wake up and smell the roses and stop defending and letting sht like this slide.

We are not extensions of our parents, we don’t know what’s happening behind close doors or how keeho is feeling. We should not pay for our parents mistakes and we shouldn’t get the heat for it. I feel bad for the victim getting scammed but that is not keehos fault nor should he get blamed for what his mom is doing. Something I wanna discuss…. (Part 1)

I’ve noticed the disrespect and horrible objectification of mingi and im tired of it. Mingi is a caring smart and thoughtful person with feelings and is a great conversationalist. He has many hobbies and is more than just a pretty face and deep voice.

I’m sure by now we all have seen that cringe fest concert video where the girl snatched the mic from her friend.

Nothing about this behaviour was cute or was gonna get you liked by atiny or ateez themselves. Ateez are human beings and mingi needs to be treated with respect. Pick me delusional wattpad behaviour has no place in this fandom. It’s time a lot of yall toxic so called “fans” wake up and come into the real world.

Call people out:

There should really be more accountability and organisation in this fandom. That means reporting/calling people out on:

-ssg(stalker) behaviour

-disrespect of ateez members

- harassment and mean spirited actions

-attacking fellow Atiny based on (sex,religion,race,ethnicity and other seious factors)

I know this sounds like I’m doing too much but one of the main reason a lot of fandoms have a hard time coming together and end up giving their artist a bad rep or a hard time is bc of the lack of people in the fandom calling out others on their toxic actions/behaviour. Not giving horrible and toxic people a safe space in this fandom and letting them think they are allowed to act like this and get reward for their bad behaviour is one the best ways to keep the integrity of this fandom and also one of the best gifts we can give them. All the hard work and struggle Ateez went through all for this fandom in order to make us happy and proud should be repaid by making sure we make them proud of us by keeping this fandom happy and a safe space for all of us who are good people no matter who you are and where you come from.
