I can very much see tsc 3 ending with a bit of an open ending - like it being the final match, and it’s Trojans vs Foxes and the book ends right as the match starts, leaving the readers to draw their own conclusions to who won and who lost

I’m not sure exactly how old Elodie is but let’s say she is a few years younger than Jean and is roughly fifteen/sixteen at the current point in the story. Robin joins the Foxes age eighteen in Neil’s fourth year and Andrew’s fifth year. By this point, Elodie would be seventeen/eighteen. Their age gap really isn’t that much from what I can tell.

The line ‘Drake was not a biter, then.’ conveyed to Neil who Grayson was to Jean in a way no other line would have. Saying ‘Grayson assaulted me’ or ‘Grayson is an awful person’ would not have shown what he’d meant as well as that line did. And it immediately made Neil know that Grayson had to go.
