Welcome to the official Autism Swag Summit!

This is heavily inspired by the other official Tumblr Competition polls, notably @nonbiney-swag-competition

This is a bracketed competition between Tumblr's most beloved characters, to determine the true King of Autism

Staffed and organized by just 1 person, you may call me mod Bug (they/them please!)

Remember to check out our sister account @autismswagreblogs for artwork and propaganda!

Please read our FAQ before sending in your asks!

Here is a list of Palestinian blogs in need of financial aid, I update it in the regular when I receive new requests

Two days ago, the occupation bombed a car belonging to the World Kitchen workers. This is a deliberate killing of those who help people, provide them with food, and save them from hunger. This is what happened previously with the four European volunteers who entered Gaza to help people... The occupation used all methods of genocide and starvation with the people of Gaza and it is still doing so. We are literally dying every day. Please help my family from hunger.

Thank you to the supporters and all the friends who help in reblogging, they are the real friends. I am grateful to all of you. My sincere appreciation to you.

Deir al-Balah is witnessing heavy shelling now, as my family is displaced here in Deir al-Balah, and there are also approximately 800,000 displaced people from northern Gaza, as my family was displaced from there. We need your prayers my friends..

Help save Marah's family!

As the colder months begin to settle in, it becomes pertinent to remind you about the conditions in Palestine. The people of Gaza are trapped in tents, while torrential rainfall drastically increases the risk of flooding and sickness from exposure. The Israeli occupation and genocide is, without a doubt, entirely responsible for this suffering. This is the suffering Marah and her family have been forced to live under for now (as of writing this) almost a full year.

This cannot be allowed to continue any longer. Marah deserves to finish her studies in engineering. Her parents deserve to recieve medical treatment for their diabetes. Her family deserves to feel safe in a world not hellbent on their destruction.

If you need verification to trust this, this fundraiser is found on the blog of @/90-ghost (linked here, the new blog is @freepaleatine95 but it's the same fundraiser), who is a trusted verifier. I implore you, please at least take the time to share. It is truly the least you can do.

We are so close!

This Halloween, I want you all to consider those who can't celebrate. The people hiding in tents, praying for their safety, being battered by the elements and plagued by disease. Remember that your fellow man are in desperate need for aid, and that even one reblog can garner so much more eyes turned towards this fundraiser. Anything, anything, helps. That is all I ask of you.

Keep going!

A message to any Americans who happen to be reading: I know things seem dire right now. I know the instinct in times like these is to dread the future and shut down, worried for what's to come. Now is not the time to become complicit. You cannot become quiet and hopeless now, not in the face of the people who have fought so hard to stay alive. We, as humans, need to stick together. Marah and her family are still in danger. The winter weather is worsening in Palestine. Now is the time to stick up for your neighbors across the sea, to stand as resistance against come what may.

AND THE WINNER IS:

DONATELLO HAMATO from RISE OF THE TEENAGE MUTANT NINJA TURTLES

Runner-Ups:

Papyrus (Undertale) in Second place

Lilo Pelekai (Lilo and Stitch) in Third place

Ferb Fletcher (Phineas and Ferb) in Fourth place

Tied for Fifth place, Miles "Tails" Prower (Sonic the Hedgehog) and Laios Touden (Dungeon Meshi)

Thank you so much to everyone who came by to show their support, to rally for their favorites and have fun! This has been another round of the Autism Swag Summit! Goodbye for now!

hello! I was wondering if there would be an official post announcing the winner? That’s all :] 👍

There will be, I've just been on a bit of a break from Tumblr recently. It'll be either tomorrow or the day after tomorrow, depending on when I've gotten back into the swing of things.

Round 1!

Reminder to be kind and civil. These are real people and we dont need any arguments.

Propaganda for y'all-hate-kids-tourney

A blog that makes tournaments about fictional minor characters (a.k.a. kids and teens) that are heavily mistreated, either by their creators and/or the fandoms the characters are in.

- Runs tourneys for fictional kids hated by their fandoms. First poll was for pre-teens, second was for teenagers, and they're currently sorting through submissions for a "screwed by the writers" round for both age brackets where bad writing/wasted potential plays a part in said hate. Which is awesome because kids are way more likely to be the target of "why are they like that?! They're sooo problematic/stupid/irredeemable!!!" and kids' shows (which have a lot of kids in them) are likely to be the target of (wow these writers are soooo naive/stupid/problematic and the show is irredeemable!!!) so it's really great to get some common sense and genuine love going around! Very good tourney.

About the autism battles, how long does it take to choose the characters and to prepare everything before the start of the first vote ? It seems like a lot of work, and I'd just like to know how much you suffer by doing this.

Did you made other tournaments like that or plan to ?

It honestly doesn't take that long, though the process was definitely weirder this year because we had so many ties in nominations. If memory serves it took me about a couple days to a week to sort through everything and put the images together. Though I don't recommend any prospective tournament hosts to attempt to replicate my schedule, since for most of the tournament I've been preparing posts at 2 am the night before lol.

This is also my only tournament. I know some people can wrangle doing several at the same time, but with my memory that's a recipe for disaster lol

Anonymous asked:

I voted for Donnie, but Lilo would probably be a better US president than the one that was just elected into office tbh

That's an interesting hypothetical you've posited, anon. Which one of our finalists would make the best president of the united states lol.

Anonymous asked:

Fucking crazy? do they just have proof or just want their character to win?

I do appreciate sources in times like this, if you have proper evidence of harassment or toxic behavior I would like to see it before making any executive decisions. Besides the accusation all I've taken notice of is people being excited, "DONNIE SWEEP" comments and such

Anonymous asked:

Honestly I think you should have banned Donatello his fans are fucking crazy and rampant

Are the fans causing problems again? I haven't seen anything particularly alarming, but that might be just a lack of supervision on my behalf.

As a reminder: I will start banning and removing characters if harassment has become a problem again. I don't care that it's the finals. Behave yourselves
