Nothing About Us, Without Us!

ASAN is deeply concerned about the Executive Order (EO) “Preserving and Protecting the Integrity of American Elections." This explainer from AAPD talks about the EO, what's going on with voting right now, and how this impacts disabled voters. https://www.aapd.com/election-executive-order-explainer/

Disabled people know what’s at stake with every slash of federal funding. When they cut Social Security, Medicaid, and other vital programs, our communities pay the price. On April 5, fight back! Find a Hands Off! event near you: https://handsoff2025.com/?SQF_SOURCE=asan

Happy Autism Acceptance Month from ASAN! This April, we celebrate all the work the self-advocacy movement has done and remind ourselves of the joy and love that keeps us fighting for a better future!

Autistic people exist everywhere! This Autism Acceptance Month, ASAN looks forward to celebrating the incredible strength and diversity of the autism self-advocacy movement.

People with disabilities are under attack, but the disability rights movement, along with many other civil rights movements, are familiar with demanding to have our voices heard and fighting for positive change for people with disabilities.

Autism Acceptance Month starts tomorrow! This April, we celebrate all the work the self-advocacy movement has done and remind ourselves of the joy and love that keeps us fighting for a better future!

Today is Trans Day of Visibility. Trans Day of Visibility is a day for celebrating trans lives, trans joy, and trans resistance. ASAN will continue to fight back against attacks on trans rights and work towards a world in which transgender autistic people are respected and included everywhere.
