Ever since I started doing commissions I stopped drawing for me. Mostly because I’m in the middle of an identity crisis, and I don’t know what i want (or what people want to see). I’m trying to get back into animation but that’s slow going, I’ve all but abandoned The Breakfast Guild because it felt like no one wanted to see it, and I don’t know who I am as an artist.
I used to have ideas and now I just feel useless and boring. if you have suggestions for what I should do, I’d love to hear it.
Okay, so I have taken some things into consideration. I am not going to give up, but I do want to be more proactive with getting things done. With that said, I've made some discord servers. The first one is for people who want to follow updates on The Breakfast Guild (I'm not dropping it, I just need to remember why I loved it in the first place):
The second channel is for people who want updates on my animations, since I have a few in the works:
I don't like talking online too much because making my presence known gives me a lot of anxiety so I normally just reblog your stuff with my other blog
But I want you to know I really enjoy the breakfast guild! I find the characters really charming and ever since I read the old version (the comic) I've been excited to see what else you're going to do with it! I also love your art style and animation, it's so fun and friendly feeling. The little animation trailer you made got me really excited to see what you'll do next!
I hope you're able to stick with it and know there are absolutely people who would love to see it happen!
I tried to participate in art fight this year but my ability to finish art has been non-existent so this was the only one I managed. Herald is an oc made by @swordlover87, very much enjoy his design :)
