March 13th, 2022 Hello customers! Here’s another update with some new things that have come to light:
🔥 Finances: In our last post, we spoke about how we successfully transferred Stripe funds to Silvermoon, how it ended up being short of what we needed, and that we’ve been determining ways to both raise funds and also cut costs.
However, in February, something amazing happened: Miles’ partner actually reached out to us, offering to send all the original items! Getting the merchandise from Miles’ partner is not guaranteed, but if they do end up shipping the merchandise, it will save us a significant amount of money than if we would reorder. We’ve currently requested count of boxes and their weights, and possibly her sending out a small amount of items this month to get started. She’s very new to all of this, so we want to take it step by step to prevent from overwhelming her.
🔥 Production status: We have repurchased all the merch items in order to push production period forward! As there's a possibility due to international shipment of the decks (we used a China-based supplier), that the current supply of them are damaged and would be unable to be used for fulfilling orders, we're considering selling them and/or the small amount of items at an upcoming con to try and grab some extra funds for repurchasing the amount we might need. We’re also discussing various alternatives in order to prepare for whatever outcomes arrive.
🔥 Next Update: We plan to have another update within the next 3 weeks (so by April 3rd), where we'll hopefully have a more solid process in place. One of our priorities right now is to provide you with more consistent updates. As we are now moving forward with a solid team and plan, this will be much easier to provide, so please do look forward to that! We will also be answering emails/asks/DMs on a more consistent basis! We want to ensure your trust with us.
