What if Kallus knew the Imperial protocol would make it so that the Empire wouldn't rescue him from Bahryn? And when he told Zeb he would take his chances with the Empire it was just him trying to ease Zeb's concern, while also sorta trying to communicate that it only felt fair for him to fall for the same Empire he had taken a stand for. Not as a display of trust to the Empire, but moreso it only felt like fair punishment for him. But life isn't fair and he got saved by a passing shuttle. He realized life had given him a second chance, so he might as well use it to make things right

back on my horizon zero dawn shit again. can we talk about how both horizon games just have the most gorgeous incredible amazing score. i especially love the choral pieces (probably because 90% of my life is choir but that’s neither here nor there). and the way it just adds so much to the worldbuilding!! the carja sun priests singing different choral variations of the names of the sun-kings based on the rising and setting of the sun YEEAAS. the norawea song at the proving festival HELLL YEAH. everything the utaru do ever (as before we are gives me freaking chills). the fact that anywhere in meridian you can see little groups of people jamming out. with SITARS!!! i love that the carja have sitars. there’s definitely more but i just love the music.

Me seeing the same thing in my work: Wow am I illiterate? Am I actually ok? Who the actual fuck told me I can write so I can go and curse their entire family for the time it took for me to carefully craft this GARBAGE.
