(LONG) an interesting and funny Pepper Ann live chat on Disney's Blast from 1998

What I find interesting about a lot of older TV shows is they had live chats with someone in character. I remember finding ones for Winx Club on the 4kids site when I used to go on Internet Archive a lot. What's funny about they committed to Pepper Ann responding in chararacter and she even interact with the chat mod. I think Disney's Blast is a paid subscription game/social thing? You'd have to pay to have access to it I think. This is called "Disney's Daily Blast"... queuing for April 8th. 27 year old ass chat just like Pepper Ann in the finale...

the funniest thing about liking multiple niche/specific cartoons is recognizing certain voice actors in other media and it's often funnier with the context of the original character. what do you mean stuart from pepper ann also voiced several characters in monster high, including heath later on (i'm pretty sure) and several characters in clifford including a 3 legged dog. what do you mean trollz 2005 and cybersix probably share a voice actor for the little demons in their show. i didnt even bother to look, but i heard it. what do you mean a character from pepper ann who was mostly a background character (constance) until one episode is voiced by freaking dexter from dexter's lab who also has ginger hair and glasses?

okay! proceeds to read too much into the joke lines such as when pepper ann called nicky an ugly duckling and becky the swan in the amazing becky little. funny line right unless when you actually think of the ugly duckling story and how it is about a swan raised in a family of ducks spending it's life miserably until it finds swans and looks at it's own reflection making a realization about itself. becky is already a swan among swans, but nicky is a swan who believes she's a duck, and who will go through the journey of "the ugly duckling"

add this with the combination of becky and nicky's fear of swans they are never able to get over by the end of the episode linked to a repressed childhood tramatic experience of the movie, we can come to the conclusion becky and nicky are AFRAID of themselves, their own reflection (true selves) due to their childhood upbringing. oh let's even say when swans chase nicky, when they sense her fear and act in aggression that's like nicky's fear of social survelliance and negative consequences.

the question is will nicky eventually accept herself as the "ugly duckling" if she's so afraid of being a swan? that's answed in the finale :)

or in two's company we have the "i made this flower but i can't tell if it's a carnation or a mum" and of course i look it up if mums mean friendship and yea they do. which relates to the themes of the episode and the overall pains of gwen/milo and nicky/stuart dynamic compared to the friendship trio. which is the more important relationship- the flower, a back and forth/practically nonexistent or unbalanced/codependent "romantic relationship" OR the company of two friends who truly understand you? would you get back in those relationships just to preserve the wellbeing of the friend who gets you? or perhaps instead... just gives you something no one else can give
