What's your process on figuring out / how did you come up with all your ideas for your version of the EW cast (or characters that aren't yours basically, sorry if this doesn't make much sense)? I'm very new to writing fanfic and one of the main struggles I keep running into is getting into a character's headspace while still keeping things believable, so some advice on that would be much appreciated TT...

Also how did you come up with all your world building (Ex. Your Stay AU) and how do you keep track of all of it? I can't for the life of me make any of the ideas in my head coherent enough for them to work-

Honestly? I wing it most of the time. I have a lot of love for these characters, I’ve been a fan for so SO long, as in classic era amount of time, I was THERE waiting for new eddisodes to come out.

Oooh its okay, while yes it’s difficult to confront the themes again, my damage is more of the cringe kind. I have new medication and they’re GREAAATT! Havent felt this stable in a while so I’m pretty okay to try and tackle this again

Oh sure! I’ve given writing advice before, the gist of it is that you start with a skeleton plot; chapters with specific themes and sub scenarios that happen in them.

Slightly gross headcanon but, I feel like if Tord ever gets INTO a project he can go for days neglecting everything else. No food, sleep, shower, social interactions etc until the project is done.

The mindset would be that he CANNOT have those things until the project is done, then when he does finish he does a deep clean of EVERYTHING.

His room is the shittiest during these times but by the end of it his room is actually the cleanest and most sanitary place.

Edd can’t rebuke him btw, because sometimes he does this too, but he doesn’t do it purposefully like Tord, in his case he forgets.

Okay so real talk. I really dont know whenever I’m finishing Regimen’s act 3, theres a lot going on plot wise and irl wise, I’m really sorry but I really do think I should leave it in the dark for now.
