Dragon // Treasure
I've begun reading your book, Regicide, and I'm absolutely stunned with how engaging the prose and story is together with the artwork. I'm actually a little jealous you can be so good at both of these crafts. I'm sure it must've taken a lot of practice.
I'm glad I got it! I adore Holt.
Thank you so much for the kind words!! I've had a perfect storm of a background writing & drawing for comics, animation, and other book projects, as well as a long history of fanfiction writing. I still feel like I have a lot to learn but I'm super proud of how Regicide came out!
Here's a Holt just for you!!
(Other people can look at him, just know that he's specifically smiling at you.)
A reference sheet of Ozwald I made for Art Fight! He's an ex-dragonslayer turned king's knight. An apathetic warrior with a sweet tooth. (Also the protag of my next story!)
While Ozwald is a drakenseizer that turned to knighthood, Verner is his opposite! A dragon hunter & stickler for the rules, he quickly becomes a rival to Ozwald when the knight tries to smuggle a young dragon past his post.
Despite their differences they may learn to get along~
The final addition to the lineup, Enna!
A mustel girl cursed to turn into a dragon, a case like this is unheard of, thankfully Ozwald has been tasked with escorting her to The Rav, a city of wizards. If anyone knows how to break a curse it's the people who invented it.
"She's looking right at you!" Jackson guffawed, hopping onto Ulla's shoulders. "When you win this fight and invite her to the champion's table I know she'll be all over you." Ulla looked up, both women locked eyes for a brief moment, but only one felt proud enough to resist averting her gaze.
To the victor go the spoils~ ✨
Ozwald shares my name, including the spelling - I'd love to know more about him and how he got stuck with an escort mission! I love seeing your work, I always want to know more abt the characters and what's going on
Ah! Ozwald, congrats on sharing a name with that asshole complex fellow, haha!
He's the type of person you don't want to depend on for a rescue. Sure, he's a skilled knight of Nordekoph, a champion of the nation, but he's terribly disillusioned with the with the whole deal. War has taken it's toll on his past pride so he tends to half-ass any quest sent his way.
Buuut, stumbling upon a little girl in a cage he knows he'd be a monster to let that be, maybe he can earn himself a slice of redemption?
While yes, he did murder a stranger to free her I doubt he had anything good to say. So! now he's trying to take her somewhere safe, over the border where her kind live. She... doesn't exactly like his style of childcare. Less hand-holding, more picking her up and pinning her under his arm.
She lets him know how she feels though. But he does his best to ignore her.
Two points of order!! I'm about to sort out a shipment of signed Regicide bundles, so if you'd like to get yours ASAP hop in now! More importantly I only have 16 more stickers left and then they'll be gone... FOREVER! So grab yours now!!⤵️ ko-fi.com/s/b186886b72
If I don’t create a new D&D character to be obsessed with every month I’ll.. well, it hasn’t happened yet so let’s hope we don’t find out.
This is Ladon Constellaris! A Dragonborn of dubious arcane abilities that i’ll be playing in a Theros campain my friend is running >:)
Another Ladon///
…More
This time let's circle back to equity later and focus on some basics! What's up with TAILS?
Transcript under the cut:
all this speculation yet the artist forgot that many people make their furries have digitigrade legs. a tail would absolutely be required for balance if youre standing on your toes forever.
No I didn't?
Am I misreading what you said, or are you implying that anything I wrote says tails AREN'T EVER used for balance?
all the drawings look plantigrade and there was nothing in the text about digitigrade specifically which is why I pointed it out. if an anthropomorphic animal has digitigrade legs then their tails are required for balance. the rest of your post is awesome, I love the stuff about chairs which is something I never actually considered myself.
Ah I see! That's because this post uses my fantasy setting, it's not a post for furry characters as a whole, rather an exploration of how I puzzle through my own development.
