amazing episode that was so worth the headache of fighting with my laptop trying to get anything to fucking work
cloverworks's animation is steller as always (sugi, tsuge and kiryu's fights looked AMAZING) and im going to be rotating kaji and suo in my head for the next week
that said there are some shots that i personally think were more impactful in the manga and im def sad we didnt get that cold shot of suo before sakura grabbed him
in particular theres two moments from kaji ("you damn lizards touched smth that belongs to furin. that means you should already know whAT KINDA SHIT YOUVE GOTTEN YOURSELVES INTO!!" and "that... is what you think feels good? bastards like you... DON'T GET TO TALK SHIT ABOUT FURIN!!"
nii-sensei's ability to show emotion is just fucking incredible tbh i love wind breaker so much

still thinking about that kaji fight omg it was so good. there were some frames that i thought were more impactful in the manga (mostly about how intense his facial expressions were in comparison), but also he's SO brilliantly animated that it really makes up for it (everyone was brilliantly animated, but PLEASE i'm stuck on kaji rn, i'll think about everyone else later hdkdhfj)

One day (maybe) I’ll write a big long post about how, besides Sakura, we’ve seen nirei evolve at a similarly exponential rate in terms of character development. I feel like I might be preaching to the choir but these panels are actually parallels I’ll die on this hill
