Hello everyone,

First and foremost we hope everyone is doing alright, or as alright as you can be during this time. 

We are aware that Liam’s passing very well might affect those of you who are considering participating in the Big Bang this round. We know and understand that while many will find healing, an escape, or possibly some much needed joy in the creative process, just as many will find it to be difficult or maybe even impossible. 

Please know that we always support you making the decisions you need to in order to take care of yourselves and that feeling is only stronger now. We don’t want anyone pushing themselves in ways that do not help them move through this difficult situation or possibly even make it worse. 

We also know that you can’t always know right away what your situation might be or which side you fall on. And that is okay.

We have decided to try to give those who haven’t signed up yet time to assess and make the right decision for themselves by extending the author sign ups so they won’t close until November 30th. We hope that those added few weeks will allow people to process a bit more and find some more steady ground to best know how they might be feeling towards a larger scale writing project. 

As of now, the rest of the schedule will remain as it was originally announced, but we will keep you updated if there are any additional changes.

As always, please feel free to reach out if you have any questions regarding participating in the fest.

Since the whole thing with NaNoWriMo has gone down, I've noticed that one of their former sponsors, Ellipsus, has cut contact with NaNoWriMo because they do not support their stance on AI; I didn't know what Ellipsus was, but upon further research I've found that they are a writing platform that works a lot like Google Docs and Microsoft Word, only with a heavier leaning on the story-writing aspect and connecting with other writers - and they also completely denounce any use of AI, both in the writing process itself and in the use of their platform. I really appreciate that.

Since this is the case (and since I've noticed Google has begun implementing more AI into their software), I've decided to give Ellipsus a try to see if it's a good alternative to Google Docs (my main writing platform). It's completely free and so far, I've found it simple to use (although it is pretty minimal in its features), and I really like the look of it.

I figured I'd spread the word about this platform in case any of you writers would want to give it a try, and if you do, let me know how you like it!

Now that they've all settled down in their relationship dynamic, Zayn, Harry and Louis agree it's time for the next step. A new phase in their lives, so to speak. They're having a baby! Or well. That's the plan. As usual for the three of them, nothing goes as planned.
