It's four in the morning when they get word they can leave. Eight hours in a hospital wasn't anyone's exactly a choice evening. Thankfully, it's the stillest ARH has ever been by Raylan's recollection. There's only the sound of pumps and beeping with the occasional hacking cough coming from two beds over. Judging by sound, anyone would guess he was all but alone. He very much wasn't. His hip popped back into place, the cuts on his face glued shut, and the cut on his scalp stapled up; the staff let him wander over to the other deputy in their care when he swore he wasn't nauseated or dizzy. The pair had been sitting quietly for a solid thirty minutes. Discharge paperwork was apparently "a bitch".
