I’m so happy this is near me when I know I will need it in a fairly close future :)

Guys I need tips.

Last night I called out a few friends on my close friends list about the rumours they have been spreading and asked them to mind their own business.

I took the name of the org they are members of (even I was a part, but I left for some reasons) and two authoritative figures of that org. Not in a bad way, i said they made the rumour reach A (one of the coordinators) so if they don't stop I'll make it go till B (the head of the org)

So people are like you took their names and the org name so it's not correct.

Mind you, I tried to tell them to stop the rumours thru a friend cuz they talked all that infront of my friend. And even after i left the org they didn't stop.

So i was compelled to take this step. And the CF list only includes the people involved that's all.

I'm getting nervous, cuz my fam doesn't know about this and if this escalates it might reach them which I don't want.

Give me some tips and tricks to intimidate these people to stop this here and never mess with me again.

I had a singing program today near my home for a festival. And i messed up. Forgot lyrics, voice crack(?).

Not my mid performance also, that bad it was. Now i don't have any confidence to sing on stage. Les go

I'm omw to the court. Guess who's late 🥳

a guide to passive academia

  • read slowly. page by page, paragraph by paragraph. don’t rush your books—let the content settle properly.
  • listen to lectures while doing other things—getting ready, cooking, on the subway. passive learning makes revision so much easier.
  • study in environments that feel comfortable—a quiet library, cosy at home, or a nice café with good coffee.
  • annotate with intention. a single well-placed note is more effective than cluttered, wordy sentences, especially in academic reading.
  • don’t stop a good study session. if it flows, lean into it. let yourself stay in the moment.
  • read outside of school. don’t limit yourself to your studies—if something interests you, explore it further.
  • constant revision. got a minute? glance at your notes. familiarity deepens understanding effortlessly.
  • candles for late-night study sessions. candlelight can be easier on the eyes than harsh artificial lighting, especially compared to screens or fluorescent lights.
  • spend time in museums. become familiar with artists and exhibitions, read the little signs, and write down interesting observations.
  • read philosophy, but don’t rush to have an opinion. let the questions linger, explore different perspectives, and give yourself time to see where you stand.
  • keep a brain dump notebook. always in your bag, ready for any passing thought. don’t worry about making it pretty—just write it down and return to it later.
  • find friends who care about academia. discussing what you’re learning makes it feel like conversation, not study.

I'm feeling hopeful for the future. It's been a while since I felt this way, I'm glad I feel hopeful. I feel like I'll learn a lot and do well in the internship. I'll gain a whole new perspective and a missing piece for my career choice. Everything will turn out great because it's inevitable 🤍

  • Did Another round of laundry

Stuff to do:

  • Practice for today's music class
  • Attend class

  • Read "do it today" (one page)
  • Go for a walk(?) (walked back from music class so that counts right?)
  • Ironed my fit for tomorrow

being on [tumblr] feels like an access to a fairy land where you have a second life apart from your real one which the people irl are absolutely oblivious about.

I'm back!!!

Sorry for disappearing without a trace. I had deleted the app for some reason. Exams done, last exam was okok. I went on a date(??) with my pookieee we played badminton 🫠.

Then I've been in a slump and kinda depressed cuz I got no plans for holidays. I feel sooo bored and annoyed that I can't go somewhere. Finally I did smth productive, i attended my music class after a month.

Please suggest things to do which is productive and fun. My sem starts from March 3rd. I need to keep myself busy and active. Help me😭🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻 I don't wanna procrastinate and waste my time.

Thank you

Maddy.

Okay guys I'll see you after my goals are done!
