*reappears after 2 weeks of hellish fever*

I fell off of my FMAbruary streak, and worse yet, I am also behind on my contribution towards our Let's transmute something together event! ah! But the gracious mod @rene-of-the-blackouts has given me (and my partner) a generous extension. Now that I am finally able to hold a thought in my head, I wanted to share these teasers for my what will be my contribution to the event! @deaddovehasbeeneaten and I were partnered thanks to our mutual love for Noah; her Romani character; her deep hope; her rich but unexplored background, and the opportunity to reimagine her powers. From our discussions I followed my inspiration, began to research and have been working on four tarot-style card illustrations that will explore Noah. I look forward to sharing more with you soon!

Trisha Elric for my day 9 of FMAbruary challenge. A young, beautiful and caring mother. She was a sun and a source of life for the brothers, and I’m sure her boys were a sunshine in her life, too.

The concepts of pregnancy and motherhood in 2003 were so interesting - especially explored through Trisha/Sloth

2003!sloth is the supreme homunculus . The sorrow. The poetic symmetry. The sick ass water powers.

Day 7: Blood

Another piece done in a style of blockprinting. These were great fun!

The unseen interactions between Winry and 03!Wrath fascinate me: lets talk about it

I have been playing around with a different style with this piece - much more reminiscent of block printing (a type of printmaking that where you carve away the negative space, leaving the parts of the block that will be inked and pressed to create a print. One of my favorite art forms!). The making of this piece, even digitally, was very similar to how you carve a block.

Another Martel, since it is year of the snake after all! 🐍☀️🔪

Day 4 is desert, and this was another colour palette challenge for me.

Day 3 snow was a fun challenge. Continuing to figure out some animation with procreate tools. Expect more!

Another day another art challenge from the prompts! Day 2: travel.

Winry leaving Rush Valley and Paninya seeing her off! The female friendships that could be seen in the background of FMA always warmed my heart. (Although, if you ship these ladies, I’m with you friend 🔥 )

Wiped out my ruler for this one and had fun playing with perspective blurring. However, this file is so low res because of that blurring and perspective…my procreate file crashed and all that survived was this screenshot from the playback video 🥲
