hiii just finished reading charles xavier’s a+ guide to management and i realllllyy loving it (so sad thats the only cherik fic the author wrote) so im wondering if you guys have any cherik recs that have similar vibes(?) like it? thanks! :D

Sorry this took so long, but here are some fics with similar vibes I think you’ll enjoy!!

Space Jam by Pangea — sort of a Star Trek-inspired AU where Charles is the ‘first officer’ to Erik’s ‘captain’ who’s been in unrequited love with him for years and it all spirals out of control on their newest mission.

Shop Space by Caradee — Charles and Erik broke up, but are still friendly and see each other at their favorite coffee shop. This is fine until Erik starts bringing by someone new (you may recognize him :))

X!Men: First Day by abbichicken — a prompt fic based on The Devil Wears Prada, where Charles is Emma Frost’s newly-hired frumpy, hopeless assistant on his first day. The Cherik is minor since it’s just his first day, but the vibes are there!

you can leave your hat on by endingthemes — Charles is a socially awkward professor with his head in the clouds, and Erik is a student and stripper who finds him more interesting than he thinks he is.

put your head on my shoulder by sweeney_t — succubus!Charles goes out to a gentleman’s club in hopes of finding a victim to seduce, and ends up getting seduced instead.

thank you!! I made a little guide :> it's mostly about hair color picks but this is how I choose my colors in general!

i tend to stick to a similar value with all my colors! the only colors that get a higher saturation tend to be the highlights

and a way to make your colors pop is contrasting your warm and cool tones :> with yaoyao, I have a warm-tone base with a cool-tone shadow and kazuha's is a little more messy, but the bright teal pops in contrast with the red and warm tones.

this chart is helpful too if you're stuck on what kind of color scheme you'd like to go with!

I tend not to use pure white/black in my base color or lineart either my whites will either be warm/cool grays depending on the character! and I tend to have cool blue/purple blacks color has so much personality so I love adding lots of it :>

I'm physically incapable of base coloring as a solid color to save my life... it takes a while and most of it is intuitive at this point so it's a bit difficult to explain for bigger pieces, but I hope this helps!!
