I appreciate that your art emphasizes both Spamton's cartoony proportions and his puppet-like physicality in a way not a lot of people do. Have you done any pieces that showcase his body structure in a more detailed way or a reference image that inspired your interpretation? I'm trying to visualize his body structure better for my writing, and your Spamton has been a huge influence on my own interpretation of him.

i don't have a solid reference for his body, though i tend to think of him as a cross between a cheap plastic action figure and a more antiquated ventriloquist dummy, with his joints fairly mobile and the torso part of his body mostly hollow to house the control rod that operates his mouth (i had a pic of this drawn a long time ago but it's so old i feel weird linking it LOL) . personally i think of him as kind of awkward and stubby but he's been in his doll body for so long that he's figured out how to get around in it without any issue.

i'd look at pictures of various dolls to get a feel for what his joints could look like, it could be fun to mess around with the difference between the articulation of a rough figurine with basic articulation vs something like a BJD. but generally whatever serves the narrative you like the most for him!
