I don't get why Jade couldn't just shrink everything like she did before and carry it all into the Meat timeline. It seems weird the story gives a constraint that doesn't need to exist? Nothing is stopping her from taking the whole earth into Meat.
We don't know what the constraints actually ARE on how many people could cross over; Vriska never specified. Is it just a physical or size constraint, or is it (possibly more likely) a constraint on how much relevance could be carried through the breach? How much irrelevance? How much each individual brought through adds or detracts from the overall chance of victory?
