What an awesome question. Oh god, I'm a bit of a nerd with things like this and it got me thinking.
FYI: there may or may not be some very discreet foreshadowing for what's to come in LCM with some of these choices:
Mulholland Drive (dir. David Lynch): This is a personal favourite of mine, but I feel like it's that perfect mix of thriller/neo-noir film mixed with the sinister-Hollywood vibe that would be right up Agatha's alley. Also: I feel like she'd love it for those scenes with Betty & Rita/Diane & Camilla ("you drive me wild" 😵💫😵💫).
Rebecca (dir. Alfred Hitchcock): I feel like a big director like her would definitely have a Hitchcock movie in her top four faves. And the power dynamics/obsession in it?? Think it's that perfect psychological thriller that director!Agatha would love/be inspired by.
All About Eve (dir. Joseph L. Mankiewicz): can imagine director!Agatha loving the dynamic between Bette Davis' and Anne Baxter's characters in this. The manipulation, themes of womanhood and fame... and Eve was totally a lesbian, right??
Hocus Pocus (dir. Kenny Ortega): I feel like she'd have this one in there for the sheer irony. As a "fuck you" to everyone who gossips about her and nicknames her the "Wicked Witch of West Hollywood." That, and I think she'd be a huge Bette Midler fan. 😂

Lou not wanting to kill, even if she craves for it, because it makes her remember killing for her father, makes her her father. Lou freeing herself from the fear after seeing her girlfriend kill, and being prepared to kill, to the point the last scene become a comedy, the horrors not the killing but just the trauma connected to it.
Jackie having a complex relationship with her body, no more fat but still so in her mind. Jackie transforming more and more during the movie, not only by testosterone but by the cravings for justice by violence, violence she probably already did before, before running away from her village. Jackie finding freedome in defending Lou, her killer body now something good and just.
Love as a justification for violence, purifying it.

one maybe annoying thing I do with movies now that I'm writing so frequently is connecting little pieces together. For example, Lou in "Love Lies Bleeding" speaks a lot like her father does, especially towards Jackie. It's a subtle thing but speaks so much to a character that I can't help but make people pause things just to talk about it
