i mean she could be but 1. if you note the timestamps on the post i did the first drawing within like 15 minutes so it was more vibes and jokes than actual thought out story and 2. canonically the capitol is very much homophobic (and i do think that's important) so in my mind it was just like vaguely an au where they just reap two kids regardless of gender

rereading a book you originally read as a young teenager when you're an adult is a really fun experience if only because i can now appreciate how insanely Sixteen Years Old katniss everdeen is. "yeah she talks to me at school and sits with me at lunch and she came to say goodbye to me and cried and gave me a pin that belonged to her dead aunt but idk if we're like FRIENDS or anything" KATNISS THAT GIRL LOVES YOU. I've noticed a lot of journalists and promotional agencies using botw graphics for their announcements irt the movie and I can't decide if I think that means something or if it's just because it's the most recent game that everyone knows. in my ideal world it would be an original purely because that means none of my favorite characters run the risk of being blasphemed by wes fucking ball but i truly have no idea. best case scenario if they have to do a specific game is that they pick twilight princess
