Fuck it, Might as Well Share my Working Idea for Malphas in the Hellaverse

Malphas, as per the Ars Goetia, is one of Hell’s Presidents, and is an incredibly old and powerful member of the Goetia too, being able to construct or destroy just about any building and can read and destroy thoughts. He’s Hell’s greatest architect, being responsible for the design and construction of many important buildings throughout the rings. Pentagram City? Him. The Heaven Embassy? Him. Satan’s courthouse? Believe it or not, him too.

Despite all he’s contributed to Hell’s infrastructure and his power, a majority of the other Goetia looked down on him, as in the Goetic hierarchy, Presidents are as low as it can get. Malphas of course resented them for this, and hated how he didn’t have a higher position when in his mind, he rightfully deserved one for everything he’s done.

Satan took an interest in this boiling rage and resentment when Malphas was brought in to assist with a case relating to building code violations. Malphas’ anger and desire for what he perceived as justice really spoke to Satan, so he opted to give Malphas a little opportunity to serve as a court aide on top of his regular responsibilities.

Malphas of course leapt on this opportunity, as serving directly under Hell’s de facto ruler meant he could finally have a station where he’d be properly recognized and respected. He took to his new position very well, quickly shooting up to being Satan’s most favored court assistant in a matter of decades, essentially becoming Satan’s second in command like how Malphas is described in the rea Ars Goetia.

Satan greatly respects Malphas and he of course respects Satan too, and is incredibly loyal to him. In his mind, without Satan, he’d have never gotten the respect he rightfully deserved.

While Malphas is still a President and still performs his duty as an architect, his position as Satan’s right hand means he exists in a sort of a grey area in the hierarchy where he conducts a lot more authority than a President really should.

Once he became Satan’s right hand something may or may not have started going on between them too.

I know a lot of people say that Miserix and Zaria would get along well given both of them fuckin’ hate the Brotherhood, but a part of me says Pohatu was probably the Toa who tried to reach out to him first. I mean, this is the same guy who looked at Kopaka who was Mr. “I work alone” for a good portion of 2001-2003 and said “Is anyone gonna be friends with him?”

Like, to me, the moment he finds out Miserix is actually pretty decent for a Makuta and is probably sulking around somewhere on Spherus Magna after Teridax’s death, he’s probably the first one aside from maybe Melding!Teridax to try and get Miserix to open up.

I dunno, just a thought I had, I just think Pohatu should be able to have a Makuta friend.

A less traumatic approach to the Toa Hordika redesign

Oh boy, where to start? Since I had alot going behind the scenes redesigning these. Well lets start with me having an idea to basically having the Rahi be like Power Rangers' helmet motive. So did a research on their Rahi, personality, profession, etc.

So ended up being: Tiger (Vakama), Shark (Nokama), Snake (Matau), Owl (Nuju), Bull (Onewa), and Boar (Whenua) (Was thinking of mole at first but somehow the final design makes it look more like a tapir-ish boar than a mole). Then had an idea to incorporate their Metru masks as their helmets' lower half, which then made me realize that pretty much their Hordika masks are just "Elongated Face, with Horizontal Markings". So had to get a bit creative with that.

Then had to design their silhouettes/bodytypes since, might as well. So scoured their set heights from photos and building instructions. Ended up with having their Turaga forms as the main height reference and then mixed up with their Metru Height.

Also designed custom Hordika chest pieces, which then prompts me to scour every toa team ever (+Bohrok and the Kals, cause why not).

So yes, its a lot of work. I have no idea why I do this to myself.

So would Krahka be the Sixth Ranger (or Seventh, I guess)?

Anonymous asked:

What does the first three rangers (Alura, Brando and Aster) + Birdie do as bonding? Back when it was just them and Shen or even currently

Well, aside from training and stuff, they liked to talk about their lives before the revolution and play games on occasion. Aster and Alura liked to help Brando with his cooking a lot, even if Aster had a hard time with more delicate things like cutting. They were acquaintances before the Nova Spheres chose them but became really close after that.

Birdie got them to proofread some of her stuff and helped Brando cook too, she actually was the one who helped him with cooking the most. Shen liked to give them errands that seemed strange on the surface but was actually intended to help them build character and stuff like that.
