iโ€™m beck! she/they

90s anime women were so fucking beauitful god bless. i miss them so much

shes the cutest anime girl ive ever seen and shes in the bg for 2 seconds

i think im in love with her. bg characters 4ever โค๏ธ

since so many people are reblogging this the anime is Golden Boy ๐Ÿ’– its an ecchi comedy so expect the average "boobs bouncing lots of sex jokes" kind of humor but the art style and character designs are so pretty im just kind of fixated on that

this is the main lady:tm: she has a manic look in her eyes sometimes that i really enjoy

OP please elaborate

with pleasure

Disappointing that the hairs on Shaunaโ€™s antler queen outfit were mostly Mariโ€™s, I think it would have been more compelling if it had been strands of other people too. If instead the writers had dragged out the whole hair thing as something Shauna has been doing since the beginning.ย

Like Tai cutting her hair S1, maybe a piece blows off into the wind and Shauna picks it up. Maybe we get some line about hair having memories. Maybe Tai tells her to keep it โ€˜just in caseโ€™ to remember her bye. Maybe Shauna rolls her eyes, but she keeps it.

With Jackie, maybe instead of (or in addition to) the ear, maybe Jackieโ€™s hair gets caught on like a nail or something and Shauna canโ€™t get it off, so she cuts it off. We see her look at it before she puts it in her pocket.

The baby. Her baby. Thereโ€™s barely any hair on his head. Maybe she doesnโ€™t even think of it. Not until later, not untilโ€ฆJavi.

With Javi, we see her hesitate. Heโ€™s just a kid and she has to butcher him. We see her fiddle with his locks, thereโ€™s frost in his hair, more than with Jackie, and she has to purposely separate some of it until she gets a good tress. His hair is shorter than Jackie's too. She has no scissors, she has to cut it with her knife. It's difficult, it's sloppy, it's deliberate.ย

Maybe we see her cry. She has three locks now; three memories. Tai, who is still alive; her hair doesnโ€™t even matter, it shouldnโ€™t even matter, but it was the first and she canโ€™t seem to get rid of it. Jackie, her best friend; she hated her, she loved her, she killed her and she can never let her go. It only makes sense to keep a piece of her. Javi; His is the first hair she purposely takes, just like heโ€™s the first life they purposely take, the first human she has to butcher. A kid. A baby.ย

And what about her baby? Nothing. She has nothing from him. Even if she dug him up, thereโ€™d be nothing. She has nothing of him. Not even memories.ย

Something in her shifts. We see her stare at people sometimes. Except itโ€™s not really them she looks at. Imagine that scene after she tackled Mari: we see Shauna visibly angry and as Mari turns around, still with that โ€˜Lโ€™ on her forehead, we get a closeup of her hair as it whips back.

Maybe when they go to Coach that night they donโ€™t just slice his foot. Maybe Shauna decides she wants just a piece, a placeholder for her babyโ€™s from the adult who didnโ€™t help her. It feels like justice, like revenge. More so than crippling him.

Maybe when she kisses Melissa, we get another close up of her with a fist full of hair. Maybe when she argues with Nat we get a scene of the same thing. It becomes a pattern. With Hannah obviously, but maybe Kodi and the other hiker guy too.

And finally, when we get our antler queen itโ€™s not just one or two peoples hair; it's a horrific collage. Some pieces are lighter, blond, while others are brown or black. Some shorter, or longer, curlier, straighter, thinner or entire chunks, etc. It becomes clear, these are no longer memories. Theyโ€™re trophies.ย

Maybe we see Tai tremble as recognizes her own strands.
