But the destruction around us has taken everything—our homes, our livelihoods, and our sense of security—leaving us with no choice but to reach out. We hesitated before starting this campaign, but the reality of our situation is overwhelming. While we had hoped for relief, the war has returned, plunging us back into fear and devastation. After enduring the trauma of displacement, we now face the harsh reality of destruction once again, with no end in sight.

Life here lacks even the most basic necessities of human survival. Living in a small tent offers no protection from the scorching summer sun or the bitter cold and rain of winter. It is not a home—it is an environment where insects, flies, and rodents thrive. Is this what a dignified human life looks like?

Even access to water—a fundamental right—is a daily struggle. Drinking water and water for daily use must be fetched from long distances, making survival an exhausting task. Food, though scarce, is priced beyond reach. And with our homes, our futures, and our humble jobs—our means of earning a living—completely lost, we cannot afford to rent, let alone own a home. Rental prices are soaring, food is unaffordable, and medicine, if available, is often too expensive.

Can you imagine living this way? Does a dignified life require so much? Is it truly impossible?

With your generous support, we can try to rebuild from nothing—to regain our lives, our future, and our dignity. Your help is not just aid; it is a chance for us to start over, to hope again, and to live as human beings should.

I want to take advantage of this quote to talk about my story during this war in Gaza. I want to talk about the importance of everything a person can do, even if it is very simple. The importance of having a safe home to live in, of having a decent life that provides all the human necessities of life. Clean water. Enjoying the cool air from the fan in the summer and warmth in the winter. Living life. Finding cold water to drink in the high heat of the summer. Having a life, a human life. To have a job that earns money with your effort to buy food and snacks and to earn money to build a better future for you and your family.

We had all of this. But now we have lost our home, our jobs, and our dreams of a better future. The war came and destroyed everything.

I'm Roba from Gaza. I hope you and your family are well! 💖.I also want you to know that asking for donations or help is very difficult for me, but after we lost everything, I have nothing left but hope to hold on to and I'm driven by the urgent need to support my family during this incredibly tough time. We used to have stability—a beautiful home, steady jobs, and dreams for the future. However, everything changed due to the devastating impact of ongoing conflicts.

Today, we find ourselves displaced yet again, living in tents under harsh conditions—extreme heat, disease-spreading insects, and a severe lack of basic necessities like clean water and adequate healthcare. This reality magnifies our suffering and highlights the critical need for assistance and support
