Important Blog Notes!

!! Spoilers are tagged as "(game abbreviation) spoilers", in as many ways I can think. So a spoiler for Apollo Justice Ace Attorney will be tagged as "#ajaa spoilers" as well as "#aa4 spoilers".

(Tagging as ships is fine, just don't be weird about it. I don't ship much so nothing'll really be intended as ship content unless I explicitly mention it.)

Extra links etc under the cut.

Apollo would fistfight someone over the safety of his silly little bangs

I think about apollo's horns too much. clearly they're hereditary because Jove Justice has them too. but apollo's always talking about how he has to upkeep them with hair gel and the like. but if they're hereditary then WHY DOES TRUCY ALSO HAVE THE HORNS? the drawing at the end of apollo justice clearly shows that she has tiny horns under her hat, BUT THEY ARE BIOLOGICLLY JOVE JUSTICE'S this is a MAJOR plothole, it could even mean that Trucy is DOUBLE adopted and is actually apollo's full blooded sister, or that Thalassa isn't Trucy's mom and they're PATERNAL half siblngs.

Trucy's are different. Not even the same part of the head, they're just cowlicks.

I actually draw hair-down Apollo with same said cowlicks, since I'm assuming they had the chance of being passed down from Thalassa (assuming the tendency for said cowlicks came from her and not Zak)

As for Jove's bangs, it's a combination of how his bangs part and some styling, since hair doesn't fold like origami naturally (I know it's anime hair but it's realistically attainable and I'm going off of that)

How would Thalassa have passed down the cowlicks when she doesn't have a cowlick? unless that bang in the front is a cowlick, i've always assumed it was just a stylistic choice on her part. and even if that was a cowlick it's a radically different cowlink from trucy's. plus, zak gramayre is bald, so we don't have anyway of knowing if he has the cow lick gene or not :/

and Jove, what if his hair was actually just being flattened from the hat he's wearing, because he's always seen wearing, (in the admittedly very few times we've seen em') and he actually has perky horns just like Apollo.

Cowlicks stop existing when the hair gets too long since it weighs the hair down. For the very long-passed time in my life that I had longer hair, I didn't really get them, but with my current short hair I frequently get them in a generally comparable style to Trucy's.

Cowlicks are also most often associated with the back of the head (around where one's natural hair part ends) so Thalassa's bang is most likely just... a parted bang.

Re:Jove, there's actually art of him hatless in the SoJ artbook (page 106)

all of my Miles fall sprite creations, compiled into one post (+a few new ones...)

the bloodied Apollo isn't dead/hurt, he's for one of my AUs.

Which was the hardest? Eh, probably DD Apollo. Ema's bag was hell to make, though.

Feel free to use, just don't claim you're the one who made them.

I do think Apollo’s dramatic way of wearing Clay’s jacket was solely designed to be, well, dramatic, but I feel like it kind of makes sense.

I mean, his arms have to be hurting like hell with all those (implied) injuries. So I’d think that having sort of loose sleeves on, even with the bandages over everything, would be bothersome at best.

The fact that Apollo enjoyed watching Troupe Gramarye as a kid and also highly appreciates Lamiroir as a musician is just like... I mean, part of it is a bit heartwarming, but. What kind of utter mental strife would he be inflicted with, to learn that this random famous person he holds in fairly high regard is his mother?

For all this time he wonders why he felt so connected to that magician he used to watch. He wonders why this singer's words and voice spoke to him on such a deep level. And the answer, it was more simple than he could ever imagine.

Now that I've finished Supernova (for the time being), I am working on What Luck again... and have a new chapter out!

Took a bit. But I'm happy I'm working on it again.

Summary for those unfamiliar is:

Two months have passed since Apollo's best friend Clay Terran was murdered, but the man still finds himself struggling with the loss of someone so close. When his friends' efforts to brighten his spirits only result in the young lawyer getting swept into yet another disastrous murder trial- as the defendant, no less-, he finds himself desperate for a shoulder to lean on... and perhaps, something more.

As of now it's just past 40k with 11 chapters, and is estimated by me and my rough story plotting to end up roughly double this length. According to others it's good, so. [Larry thumbs up sweating emote]

Found a good song only to discover it was used as the credits song (?) to the ending of a movie (?) made for Sengoku Basara... which is a game series where those interesting samurai-looking Spirit of Justice DLC outfits came from.

Everything in my life just leads back to Ace Attorney doesn't it huh

Obviously I've already posted all the things on there on here, but ya know. It's mostly in post order aside from the two first ones (the current ensemble/cover pic and the old cover pic respectively)
