Hi everyone. Sorry I wasn't able to finish out mARTch. I got hyper focused on Monster Hunter lmaooo. I should've waited until after March to buy it.

I do have some illustrations down the line. I did this quick speedpaint because the timelapse plugin I have updated everything and I wanted to see how it was improved. I think it's a lot better now. There's a lot of QOL changes but also it keeps track of how much time I spend on a piece now! Which is great for commissions. This piece took me 2 hours.

I have to stop here bc I have to leave for plans. Photoshop was truly fighting with me the whole time I worked on this. I might work on this more after March so it's more cleaned up. At least finish the hands. Am I started to get this lost edge

MARTch Day 07: Building

Bahay kubo, kahit munti Ang halaman doon ay sari-sari. Singkamas at talong, sigarilyas at mani Sitaw, bataw, patani.

No timelapse this time cause I started on my laptop. I drew a traditional Visayan stilt house. Buildings are my absolute least favorite things to do. Except for maybe cars. (Probably not great cause I want to be a Visual Developer) But I think it kinda helped me in this case cause I didn't end up over rendering. Or maybe that's just an excuse for me not spending a lot of time on the piece shjhsdfjkn

MARTch day 06: Plants

Wow I definitely struggle with over-rendering plants cause I don't know how to measure where things should be put unless I do. I should work on that in general but it's really apparent here lol.

Just put together a simple still life at my place. I really wish I could paint these with the objects in front of me but because I have no space on my desk I had to take a photo.

MARTch Day 03: Strengths/Weaknesses

No timelapse this time cause I started this on my laptop and I don't have the hardrive space to record videos on there.

I was on the struggle bus all of yesterday but I'm still trying to keep up lmao.

MARTch 2025. Day 02 - Inspirations.

I did a master study of a figure painting from Yu Xiaodoing. Mainly wanted to focus on the anatomy.

I'm inspired by so many artists. Some all time faves are Claude Monet, Richard Schmid, Craig Mullins, Sachin Teng, Yuming Li, Zhaoming Wu, Yizheng Ke, Wangjie Le, Kloysius, Dany Lailai, Xintong Chen, Huashien J, Sergle, Maya Kern, Munroe, JijiDraws, Yanjun Chen, Nguyen Thanh Nhan and Christian Orrillo. I can go on forever but you get it.
