Uncle Polites doodle!!

Polites was definitely the most involved in Percy’s upbringing, encouraging the little guy to take his first steps and whatnot. Percy absolutely adores his uncle and loves being around him, so it helps to have Polites around when he needs to learn new things!

Right after Percy was born, I like to think he was immediately accepted into the crew, with mainly Polites and Odysseus watching over Percy while Jaysen got some rest in the cabins.

Jaysen assumed he was just going through a slight stomach bug until the little guppy popped out of him one day. Now Polites is an uncle

Jaysen had a few nights of excitement with a particular god to appease him (of course, it helped that he was attracted to him). He NEVER expected to pop out a whole demigod, and neither did his crew. Odysseus and Polites loved to poke fun at him for potentially bearing ‘a godly fish kid’ and Jaysen always snapped at them for it.

Now he has to explain to Ody that he’s effectively a grandpa 🧍🏽‍♀️

Percy’s top devotee will always be his mama Jay.

When the young swordsman is in charge of keeping the wind bag safe, Hermes occasionally checks in, teasing him for being so ‘strict’ yet makes it obvious that he finds Jaysen’s ability to grow a backbone endearing, especially since it’s for Ody’s sake.

He 100% threatens everyone who BREATHES in his direction while he has the bag.
