All tickle responses are valid
And deserving of love/appreciation.
Oh lemme tell you. Nothing grinds my gears (/positive, affirming) more than someone who feels bad about their laugh or response to tickling.
Like. What?
Lemme tell you h’what.
You are putting a lot into this dynamic just by being you. By being interested in being tickled, by providing the passion as the Lee in this situation and response you have being unique to you is what makes it special! If we all reacted the same that’s get old quick.
Notice I keep mentioning responses ans not just laughter.
- Silent laughter is valid.
- Moaning/whining while being tickled is valid.
- Yelling/cursing/bantering like that is valid (assuming it was talked about/negotiated before if it goes like, real far.)
- Really quiet laughter is valid.
- Really loud laughter is valid.
- “Cutesy” laughter is valid.
- “Wild” laughter is valid.
- “Goofy” laughter is valid.
- Snorting while being tickled is valid.
- “Ugly” laughter is valid.
And all the other ones I forgot to mention.
For me personally, my favorite type of laughter is what people would normally call “ugly” laughter. Which, like… subjective to begin with but okay. But I love it because it shows that the person has let go of all inhibitions and fully let themselves be surrendered to the moment. They’re not holding anything back anymore and are just fully locked in, if you will.
But any kind of laughter is valid. In general it’s a sign that you’re letting your guard down, you’re letting loose, you’re being yourself and having a good time/letting sensations take over. You’re not only living in the moment but you’re doing it in a very pure way.
That’s why all laughter is valid, and you are valid. And deserve tickles. And of course deserve the happiness that comes from getting to that state, no matter what it looks like to you.
Take care,
Brush
