Elon Musk isn't a sociopath Trump isn't a narcissist Jeff Bezos isn't a psycho they are terrible racist bigoted assholes but I'm begging y'all to fucking give a shit about people with personality disorders. PLEASE.
They are billionaires. That is what is wrong with them. That is why they are like that. Having the amount of money and power that they have has made them the way that they are; they don't view other human beings as people because other human beings are only numbers on a chart or a means to an end, and if those human beings present an obstacle to their acquiring more wealth, they have to die.
All billionaires are like this. The influence they're accustomed to enjoying due to their wealth makes them uniquely selfish, entitled and deeply, deeply wicked. It's just that these ones in particular are stupid enough to do it loudly and in public.
they would be so insufferable together omg
Arcaneโs biggest lacuna is that we never got to see these two banter/verbally spar.
As hard as Jinxโs โOh look who it is?? The boy savior!โ line was, imagine a whole back and forth conversation like that.
I have similar thoughts. Arcane is a miracle of a show and ultimately Fortiche pulled off an amazing peace of work with what I imagine were very tight restrictions on length, but as someone who got into TimeBomb because of season 2, I canโt help but feel like as much as we got in S2, it was still crumbs. Yes, the story is about Vi and Jinx, and Ekkoโs fun detour serves to show Jinx that she can still be savedโฆ. but how nice would it have been to see them interact, to see them joke, to see him properly talking her down the ledge in full, so concrete is his newfound faith in her. Many thoughts about this and I can appreciate the practical elements but manโฆ Ekko and Jinx deserved more.
Stillโฆ that dance though!
As a serious Timebomb shipper from s1 I never dreamed we would get as much as we did in episode 2x7, so I donโt want to complain. But yeah, I really wish we could have seen Jinx and Ekko interact more in the main universeโฆ

I am once again begging you to get your hands on physical media and/or save your fave stuff OFFLINE.
I use Kobo, which uses a slightly different method. Some publishers already don't use DRM. Great! You're good to go. Most others will be listed as using Adobe DRM. For that, you'll need Adobe Digital Editions.
Anyway. Not hyperbole. Microsoft closed its ebook platform in 2019 and people lost their entire libraries. Back your books up.
You should still be able to use the PC and mobile apps, and in browser reading, but your device will be entirely reliant on WiFi (which isn't always available or reliable!). Here's 1 article on it.
I've been using Epubor Ultimate to remove DRM from all of my ebooks so I can convert and save them, able to read them either in Kobo or Kindle, or in Calibre. I can save them as Epubs, PDFs, or what have you.
Also keep in mind Bookshop.org, an online store that interacts with independent booksellers, now has an ebook app and options from those indie stores. You can even set it specifically to your own favorite local bookstores if you want.
I get a lot of ebooks due to space issues, being a rental/apartment dweller. So the cracked and converted books are saved to my PC and external backup drives. I bought them. They're mine. I ought to be able to read them, and not worry about them being "updated" or removed on some whim*.

(*I noticed that Jim Butcher's The Aeronaut's Windlass has a different cover than when I first downloaded it, not sure what else has changed yet. Good Omens also went from the classic black cover to the TV show tie in cover.)
