I suddenly got a memory of when I was on the bus to an appointment, and it was fucking packked. I had a middle aged woman sitting next to me, and both of us clocked someone older than us so she got up and I got up to allow them to sit and some people legitimately gave a little cheer for the pair of us and I haven't stopped thinking about it since. Like we were just doing something that should be normal, why is everyone making such a big deal out of it??

Like that's literally a "and then everyone clapped" kind of scenario, you can't be doing that to people. :/
