Hello hello I’m Sol and welcome to my pony blog!! I’ve been an MLP:FiM fan since about 2015, so it’s been 7+ years of pony love, friendship, and magic!! I love a lot of the characters for different reasons but Twilight is definitely one of my favs. Maybe at some point I’ll make a list of my favourite ponies/favourite episodes/etc, but for now that’s about all I can think to add to my pinned.

If you aren’t reading the MLP comics, you should be.
You know what I just realized? Celestia’s castle was, for a thousand years, adorned with pictures of her defeating her sister. She was forced to look at pictures of the worst day of her life everyday, just to make her subjects happy, cuz to them it was such a triumph. That sucks XD
And every single night, she had to raise the moon, with Luna’s reflection always looking down at her.
And every year, she had to host the Summer Sun Celebration, in honor of her defeat of Nightmare Moon.
For a thousand years.
Imagine if you lived for 365,000 days. And every single day, you had to be reminded that you were too weak to save somebody you loved from themselves. Imagine if you loved someone so dearly that you endured a thousand years of internal torment just for the chance to see them again, while everyone else thought they were a terrible monster.
Everyone keeps making stories and art about Luna’s thousand year punishment, but how hard must it have been to be Celestia?
Don’t you make me cry don’t you do it
One more kicker for the road.
In the show, Celestia’s only ever cried twice.
Banishing Nightmare Moon…
And reuniting with Princess Luna.
Imagine the emotional weight Celestia had to take on to banish her sister, and a thousand years later, the relief she felt when her sister came running back to her, embraced her, said that after all that time, she still loved and missed her.

Wow I had a tough time with this one. I spent a long time on Rarity’s expression alone. Anyways, she is the second to last one, Twilight is next!

Looks like AJ is quite pumped! Her expression was fun to work on. Who knows what she’s saying! So I’ll leave that up to you guys. :)

Pinkie is done! As always an alternate version with the words. Also I noticed I misspelled “Rally” in the previous two drawings. I’ll have to update them later. ^^;

I couldn’t help but draw Shy after seeing the tiny MLP segment during the actual super bowl! Man I’m still surprised and happy to see ponies in a super bowl ad!
