I do tag spoilers still on there, but I keep it separate because I'd rather not spoil some friends of mine on accident if they don't filter tags. Another Patron Pick coming at you, this time featuring one of my all time favourite games, Portal! It was cool to work more with the environment in this mosaic than just characters, I think it turned out pretty cool! The other winner of the videogame poll will get drawn soon enough too, so keep an eye out. If you're interested in this style, I do take commissions and my Patrons vote two times a year on some that I have ideas for but haven't gotten the time for!

Continuing on with my Dungeon Meshi series and here's Falin! Finding foods to fit her was a little tricky, so I have the extras and flahsbacks to thank just a little, as well as sneaking in some stuff that hasn't appear in the anime quite yet. This mage is also a food enjoyer, and she was fun to draw.

Are you Kira? This mosaic is brought to you as a Patron Poll Pick! Death Note is one of my old favourites and revisiting the characters for this was very cool. This art will be available as a print at Toronto Comicon and Toronto Games Expo this month, then leftovers in my online shop at a later day!

With Summer coming to an end, nights slowly get longer, are you ready to face them...? Revisiting an old favourite for a brand new mosaic thanks to my Patrons picking Don't Starve on a poll for what fanart I should draw! This game has so much character, and is already stylized such a fun way it was a treat to put it into my style on top of that. And what timing is better than just as Summer ends to kick off the spookier season with Fall on the horizon? So you all knew there was no way I wasn't going to draw Thistle with thistles, right?

This prickly flower is sometimes treasured, sometimes deemed a weed. They are the symbol of Scotland, can grow where many other plants fail, and have contrasting symbolism. In Celtic countries, they are positive things, such as resilience, devotion, bravery, determination, strength, and pride. In France, it was hung at doors for protection. Purple symbolizes royalty as well. However, in Victorian flower language, they signify pain, aggression, and intrusion (I wonder how much the fact they're associated with Scotland caused that historically as an opinion from England here?). They were given as a warning and had negative associations with evil. They also earned a reputation from growing in cemeteries in the middle ages. Despite this, thistles have been used in many remedies and referenced for them in the play Much Ado About Nothing, being called blessed and a cure for love-sickness. In pagan traditions, they are used to repel thieves, ward off evil, and a tool for purification.

Diamond is Unbreakable Finally able to finish and post this! This JJBA part 4 piece was a Patron Poll Pick I've been working on behind the scenes between zine deadlines and conventions! At first I wasn't going to put in this many characters, but then I kept going 'okay but if he's here, she should be too' and here we are! JJBA is one of those shows I've watched but rarely draw, so this was a change of pace in a neat way, the colours were hard to pin down. Interested in weighing in on what I draw?
