there are a lot of things the rascu gets wrong but its portrayals of abuse are (*usually) so fucking nuanced. thinking about the indoctrination/coercion in sabrina & betty's mom & katy's relationship with guy. how agonizingly real it feels, that even the first time i watched the show i was like "something is off about him but i don't want to care bc he's so hot" (also i did not realize it was the satan actor until listening to a podcast later. guy who can't process faces)

like he is just so goddamn charismatic. and vulnerable in all the right moments. and seems to listen so intently even if he then undercuts her. and i knew he reminded me of 🎠 but i don't remember how i felt about that when shit hits the fan in the show.
