I need Buck to get more scenes with Ravi and become really good friends so he can realise that his and Eddie's friendship is not in the "platonic best friends" category
he keeps trying to do some of the stuff that he does with eddie with ravi and ravi has to eventually be like 'dude are you trying to fuck me??' and buck is like no wtf we are just being friends what. and ravi is like this is NOT what friends do what kind of friends do you have. and buck goes 'eddie'. and ravi is like oh yeah that makes sense.
i feel like the perfect way to give buck a feelings realization is, once eddie comes back to LA, give him a new friend. not someone cool who flies jets, like tommy, but literally just some guy. objectively, he's not even that hot. but buck cant seem to figure out why he feels the same way that he felt when eddie and tommy were hanging out when eddie and this new guy start hanging out.
bucks 'everyone' who wants him to be hopelessly pining for his best friend is his first and most recent boyfriend, aka the first person who has seen bucks attraction to men unfiltered as a romantic partner, and his sister, aka the woman who raised him, who has known him for all of her life, who basically knows him inside and out.
eddie saying 'i dont know what im going to do without you' then proceeding to not be without buck. despite the fact that he was in el paso and buck as in LA, he still never found out what he was going to do without buck because he was still there. eddie assumed that the distance between them would cause himself to be without buck.
