I’ve said before that I think Ethan is, when not hanging off buildings, figuring out the plan, or undercover as someone who is actually cool, a complete dork. Adorably awkward. Complete misfit around almost everyone. A darling of a geek.

And he’s not afraid to be that dorky guy in front of Benji.

Like - falling off the car.

The absolute dorkiest, fondest grin you’ve ever seen in your life

Teasing Benji with ‘maybe I am evil’ jokes

And it’s just the most adorable thing I’ve ever seen. Ethan doesn’t need to keep the ‘I’m a super cool secret agent’ thing in front of Benji. He can just be a dork and Benji will love him for it.

Rewatching psych for the first time in forever…getting the feeling that they flanderized shawn…thoughts?

no bc they literally did this to everyone after like s5? it's so icky i hate it & its a large part of the reason why i stopped at like 5x03 during my last rewatch :(

actually it would've been kinder if steve franks had shot me point blank in the head

you know what, no i'm not finished. because this was the context. shawn was set on proving himself as a good friend to gus. and henry cut him off to assure him he was:

he said "a good friend." because he knew that's what shawn was worried about and why he was trying to prove himself.

and then winnie responds with that? a "yes, you're very close"? she doesn't focus on whether or not shawn was a good friend to gus, the thing he was actually trying to prove, but rather comments on how close they are and that their level of closeness is the reason why gus is single. she completely fucking misses the point and doesn't even call what they have a friendship.
