puppet master¹* - can make dolls come to life. can also control you by putting invisible strings on you but requires a lot of energy. animal manipulation²*- can create, shape and manipulate animals. can also talk to them.

summary: since the day the palace was attacked and the queen, your mother, has died, you have been told to live normally and ignore your duties as the princess until the right time has come. "it's too dangerous for you to show up now. live your life as a mere citizen then when you turn 18, you can show them who you really are." this year wasn't any different. well, that's what you thought until your biological brother's friends decided to study in the same academy as you.

it was a beautiful spring day and the sun was shining brightly, it was a little hot but bearable. only hansol was the only one annoyed by the atmosphere, his only problem was the couples surrounded him as he sat in the cafe drinking his coffee but soon stood up holding his coffee and left the cafe.

hansol wandered the streets looking ahead of him, the soft music playing in his ears through his headphones drowning any noise that bothered him. from the corner of his eyes he caught the sight of flowers.

summary: do you really love someone? or do you like the feeling of being in love?

note: i wanted to get something done by today and instead of doing school requirements i did this. also the summary sucks.

How do you know when you love someone?

Of course, they always remind you of the little things, your mind goes to them regularly, life feels more exciting, and more.

Well, how do you know if you don't love someone anymore?

Do you really loved them? Or do you only love the feeling of being loved? Very hard yet very easy questions.

Only know you love her when you let her go

When you love someone and they are gone from your life, for whatever reason, you feel an emptiness and a sadness as you realize how much that person meant to you.

One minute you’re on top of the world floating above the clouds and the next you hit rock bottom.

What happened that night was still very clear to Jeonghan. During your relationship with him, he wasn't exactly sure if he's feeling the same way as you, which made him conclude that he wasn't really in love with you. And so he confronted you.

The next events went fast. You suddenly ran out of the house and when he followed you, he saw red.

Staring at the bottom of your glass

You see her when you close your eyes

Leaves were crumbling as he stepped on it. With a bouquet of your favorite flowers in his hand, he walked to your grave. 

Everything you touch surely dies

That night, Jeonghan kept running, trying to look for you. He noticed a group of people hurdling in one place. Ignoring it, he went past it when not so close to the group of people, he saw your necklace with what looked like blood. 

The ambulance came. But it was too late. Your heart rate already dropped when they arrived. 

Staring at the ceiling in the dark

Same old empty feeling in your heart

And you dived too deep

When he saw your heart rate dropping on the monitor, that's when he knew he was too late. He was devastated, depressed. What made him more sad is the fact that he realized his love for you a little too late.

Going back to the present, he gently placed the flowers right in front of your grave. Just as he stood up straight, rain started pouring. He just smiled and looked at the sky.

"Are you still mad at me?"

When he felt the rain pour harder, his weak smile grew wider too.

"Don't worry. I will make sure I apologize sincerely. Even if that means following you to the afterlife."

He started walking away, letting the rain pour down at him, but he didn't care. He finally got to the busy road. He wasn't even turning his head. He was staring at the ground while his feet were still moving, not caring where he's going.

Just as he knew, light flashed close to him and a strong force made him lose control over his body. Jeonghan fell down, his eyes started to get blurry but he can still notice the red liquid coming from his head. Once again, he smiled.

"I'm coming, my love."

jogs up to you in the hallway and tugs it closed for you. you try to whirl around in surprise, but his hands don't slip. you can only catch a glimpse of him over your shoulder. "your bag was open," he says once he finishes, patting and circling around to give you a smile. it's sweet, but you really wish he'd tell you before pulling on your bag and scaring you:

he taps you on the arm as he passes. "your bag's open," he mumbles and nods at your back. "i don't think you dropped anything yet, but you should check." and before you can properly thank him, he's on his way again. you don't know if it's because he doesn't know you enough to make any more conversation, but the exchange was shorter than you'd like:

a mix of the previous two. "hey, your bag's open!" you hear him call out from behind you. before you can slip it off your shoulders, he's already at your side and pulling at the zipper. "don't worry, i got it for ya." makes sure you're all set before he goes off and you're left wondering if he does that to everyone or...well, maybe you shouldn't get your hopes up:

you walked inside the cafe, it was crowded more than usual and you groaned internally, almost all the tables were vacant and you looked around trying to find a table for yourself. the waiter told you about a small table next to the balcony for two persons and you accepted, there was a little space between your table and the busy tables surrounding you. it felt nice to be away from the noise a little bit so you could work better on your project for college. you gave the waiter your order and grabbed your headphones playing some music and opened your laptop to begin working on your graduation project.

it was overwhelming how the years flew so fast, you still remember your first day at university now you were almost a graduate you couldn’t be happier. you know life wasn’t going to go easy on you after graduation, but you were willing to fight for your way and prove yourself.

you noticed someone standing in front of you, you took off your headphones looking up at the person in front of you. his face was hidden by a mask and he had a hood over his head.

“hello, is it possible if i sit here? i promise i won’t take long.” the man said looking at the ground.

you stood on top of the hill, admiring the scenery that still looked as stunning as the first time you saw it five years ago. everything looked straight out of a fairy tale, and you couldn't be more thankful to be able to come here every week just to relax. the grass was a vibrant green, colourful flowers scattered across the ground. the sun high and bright in the sky, with birds chirping happily in the distance. everything was simply breathtaking.
