The Toad Tower Incident.
You know, I just wanted to draw something cute about Amphibia, maybe some ship between Marcy and Anne due to Calamity's Resolution and stuff. But! That scene wouldn't leave my mind for a while, so I drew this. The key moment that completely changed Sasha and Marcy in this universe.
It took a while to do, mainly because I didn't have many references for this scene excerpt, you know, the scene itself. And I don't like drawing shadows and backgrounds, so it took a little longer to finish because I didn't want to do the scenery, but it's so iconic that I needed to replicate it. I think the result turned out well, it looks like it came straight from the cartoon, don't you think?
I hope you like the result! One day, I'll still show this day from Sasha's perspective, it'll be both fun and painful to write, but one day I will!
PS: Marcy's armor is different from what I usually draw because this is Marcy pre-Soldier takeover. She wore a standard armor, the same as the canonical Sasha actually, wearing a cape when she decided to do her training in the forest. It's only after Soldier makes the deal with Grime that he decides to buy/extort/order an exclusive armor for her, including the goggles and pants.
