francis! there's something delectable to me about shipping you, a lawyer, with any criminal character bc it's truly so funny. plus, he really does not think he's doing anything wrong ever, so he doesn't get why you're so freaked! he comes home from killing someone and is like "hello, my beloved angel!" and you're sitting there like.... "pls tell me you didn't leave fingerprints anywhere." no but fr he follows you (stalks) around like a lost puppy and when ur like 'fine i guess i'll give this nice guy a chance' he starts jumping up and down and tapping his feet together. good luck getting rid of him! sometimes he hands you $20 and when u ask why he tells u it's to 'maintain attorney-client privilege'???? he thinks his whole clown-nose schtick is hilarious and WILL try to make out with you while wearing it. and despite dressing like he broke the school's code and got put in something from the lost and found bin, he manages to woo you with his old-fashioned charm and dancing skills. plus, we all know how much you love the scruff ;) ♡

kevin! i was only like halfway through your ask before his face popped up in my head and i went YEAHHHHHH BOYYYY! he's super patient with you and is totally comfortable building a trusting friendship first before he makes a move -- though he eventually teases you a little for making him lay his heart on the line. he's the type you're perfectly content sitting in silence with and you'll often catch him watching you draw or sort your figures with a lovesick look on his face. once you start letting him hold your hand in public, he never lets go. if you ask, he'll say it's because you're so short and he doesn't want you to get lost! most of the time he ends up gripping the sleeve of his own letterman jacket, since you enjoy the oversized blue bundle of warm fabric. also, he definitely buys you guys matching keychains that fit together because "well, you're like, uh, my other half. or whatever those old married couples say..." ♡

derek! honestly, i was between a few characters (cough dewey cough randy) for this one, but ultimately derek stood out as my favorite choice for you! i just kept thinking you needed a tall and kind himbo-ish guy who isn't afraid to embarrass himself in public to make you blush, and that's him! his extroverted-ness is just enough to keep you on your toes, without making you too uncomfortable. like he's the type to hold you under his arm at the frat parties he drags you to but also whisk you away when they get too loud/crazy for you to deal with. he loves movie dates but enjoys any excuse to spend time with you, even if he's studying his pre-med notes while you mindlessly doodle. if his fingers aren't running through your silky hair, they're tugging your glasses off to kiss you better or try them on for himself: "WOAH how do you even see in these??" ♡

frenchie! carefully avoiding any spoilers, i can tell you he'd love the softness you bring to his dangerous and chaotic life. he's in DESPERATE need of praise, which you're always willing to give, and in return, he'll spend hours baking his favorite treats beside you in whatever hideout the boys are stuck in at the time. your fashion styles are equally colorful and your short stature means you can borrow his eccentric clothes whenever! he loves a good night of 50s-60s films and he's wildly protective of you (and your sister, to some degree.) his years of 'work' have also made him weirdly patient, so he's fine taking it as slow as you need! he's not used to falling for someone who isn't in a position of power (status-wise or physically) over him, but you still have wayyyy more control over him than he'd like to admit. tell him to jump and he'll ask "how high, mon cherie?" ♡

bucky! specifically, tfatws or 40s era! this isn't to say he wouldn't like you any other time, but he'd be worried about accidentally hurting you (mentally or physically) at the other stages of his life. 40s!bucky has no qualms about flirting his pants off around you, and tfatws!bucky has done enough self-reflection and work in therapy that he doesn't feel like a complete villain when he checks you out. he's always ruffling your hair, stealing your glasses and holding them up too high for you to reach, and carefully plucking the lint off your sweaters when you're too distracted to notice. of course, vintage movies and oldies music are his favorite, so you'll never run out of ones to watch with him. he doesn't want to rush into a relationship anyway, so your inexperience actually works in his favor! he's not great at talking about his feelings, but every now and then you'll find a note on your door or nightstand making it clear what he thinks about you: "i love you more than anything, doll." ♡
