You are THE best artist on this site, no joke. i love your art. You are probably my fave artist. And in my eyes, the best one alive right now. I absolutely LOVVEEEEE your artstyle. It's hard to describe, but your artstyle feels somehow both real and cartoonish. Like, if i thought about touching let's say the silky part in Voryn's clothes in that one piece you made some time ago i can visualise how they would feel against my fingertips as if i was thinking about actual silk. GAAH it's so hard to explain but just know that it makes some TES obsessed dipstick very happy. And when i found you i literally spent, like, at least an hour just scrolling to the bottom squealing and smiling like a teen girl at a MCR show at how amazing my Morrowind boys look in your style. I made an account on tumblr just to praise your work LOL your stuff literally resurrected my passion for art. Sorry if ths is long, i just needed to vent how much i look up to you as a still learning artist LOTS OF LOVEEEE MUAH!!!!!

hihi! so uh, not the best at explaining my thought process BUT i hope this'll make sense... it's sort of a ramble masterpost but i think putting all the information in one place will make things more clear. hopefully ^__^"
gotta start at the very basics - its important to get familiar and comfortable with the whole topic of drawing anatomy. what has worked for me so far is doing studies somewhat regularly - i have a sketchbook irl and when i have the time, i sit down and sketch anything. sometimes i fill pages with 3D shapes (especially after i havent drawn in weeks, just to shake the rust off) other times i pull up references and fill 2-3 pages with barebone sketches that focus on gesture/anatomy/proportion/form/dynamic posing WHATEVER it is that i feel like i need to work on that day. i mainly use references i find on the internet + some books i own, namely these three:
after a while of doing all that you develop a stronger visual library and a lot of angles/poses turn into muscle memory, in a way. at least that's how i'd describe it, i guess? i'm mentioning it because the way my brain visualizes things is quite blurry so fine details get completely lost BUT rotating basic three dimensional objects and shapes in my head comes way more naturally to me for some reason
ok, so having said all that, the way i draw bodies is pure construction + muscle memory. 80% of the time my sketches look like this:
this is all freehanded and reference-less. HOWEVER a good 7/10 times whenever i draw i like to keep an inspiration/reference board (i use PureRef for that) in the corner of my screen so i can either take a look at anything i'm unsure of OR simply check if i lost the plot in regards to exaggeration/proportion etc.
i think that's it, really :"D some last few things i'd like to mention is to remember to take your time with learning and practicing. it's okay not to get everything perfectly right on your first try. take breaks when necessary, try out new things (gotta fight the comfort zone!) and remember to have fun :) happy drawing!

i got into jjk through a good friend of mine!! He sat my ass down one time and we binged the show within 1 or 2 days LMAO after that i read the rest of the manga
as for my favorite part... it's hard to pick just one :^( it rotates between the yuki/choso/kenjaku fight, yuji and choso shibuya fight and the entirety of hidden inventory!

here's my take on clavicus vile! kept his design mostly inspired by the ESO appearance
-> the coins attached to his robe are the same coins that mortals toss into wishing wells - he just extracts them afterwards and keeps em on his person -> when he traverses the night sky his sash falls behind him, and all the coins twinkle, which creates the illusion of a shooting star (that people wish upon! :D azura doesn't like it)
his daggerfall design sort of inspired me to make a timeline of his appearance changing, i think it would be cool for clavicus to be a daedra that visually "grows up"
