Since I am suddenly (to my own surprise) getting very involved with OCs for current and later projects, and I have heard that this can be a problem, it is probably prudent that I say this.
I do not give open permission for anyone take my OCs or distinctive plots points, and use them for their own purposes or projects. If someone wishes to draw or mention my characters or plot ideas and use them for anything, I would like for them to please ask me first and wait for permission.
I also do not give permission for anyone to take a character and say, change the name for instance, and try to use them.
#Honestly I’m not against it but I do need to protect myself#I don't want people using my characters without permission#I know I have one person who has permission to draw my OCs#general#But I have had heard someone else complain about how they changed the names and some characteristics of some characters#but they could not understand why the other person was still mad at them#even if they worked together once in the past#was not even going to snoop around into that since it was not my business#several times!#but I would like to nip that in the bud since I feel like I need to protect myself here
