In Mario Superstar Baseball, chemistry is a stat that signifies how well characters get along with others on the team. Every possible matchup of two characters has its own chemistry value ranging from 5 (horrible) to 99 (perfect) attached to it.
Interestingly, despite characters one might readily imagine not getting along well (Mario and Wario, Peach and Bowser, Luigi and King Boo, etc.) having bad chemistry, none of the "obvious" rivalries and bad relationships have the worst possible chemistry value of 5.
This one is used only for the matchups between Peach and Petey Piranha, and between Toadette and Bowser. This must mean that in the minds of the developers, these two pairs of characters harbor exceptionally deep hatred for each other.

Headcanon time Doubling as the Salty Shark's leader in moral boosting, Blue Sponge Cookie also works as the Shantyman and instigates, well, shanties as the crew works. Which was a real thing they were used for, both for fun and to keep the sailors on a rhythm. And while having a good singing voice for that was... Negotiable; Blue's actually got a good set of pipes. Woulda made it big as a singer, had he not been more interested in the sea than the stage-

It takes Sparks a lot of effort to ask for things outright... the last time she chose to buy something for herself using the ship's money, she bought herself a small Hand Welder while everyone else in the party was buying guns and ammo... 😔
It's a result of coming from a place of struggle. She never buys anything frivolous for herself because she knows the money can be spent elsewhere, somewhere more important. But, then again, it's very easy to spend that money on others! Because then it's a gift and a gesture of love.
She cares so much for others, she often forgets to care for herself.
I think if you were going to gift Sparks something, I think a few days off would be a good place to start. Get her a nice dress, take her to an expensive dinner. Pamper her. Care for her. 😤 She deserves it.
